Episiotomy with spontaneous vaginal birth - 220 (8.1%)
That seems really high!
I would see what they say at antenatal feelie - ours said that they won't cut unless there is a genuine medical reason to (eg the baby is in difficulty) because tears are easier to mend apparently. Your hospital may have a policy of cutting to reduce the chances of uncontrolled tears. You can always put in your birth plan that you don't want one.

Lou I love my sis, she's my best friend too but she can be a right biatch sometimes  I'm sure she'd get over it and just use it, but she doesn't see us too much as she lives on the other side of the country
You can pick your friends...I know. She will get over it.
And if she doesn't, I will go round and persuade her.

Hallo sweetie pie, no, I have just invaded your thread, hope you don't mind.
Hows things?
hi lou,
glad to see you in here
i'm doing fine. just over 32 weeks and pretty much everything is ticking over as it should be.
dont get me started on names. we have a couple of girls names we like, but nothing on the boys at the moment.
been trying to type up about my MW appt but may have to do that tonight as that dreaded 'w' is getting in the way.

I'll share on the names front
Girl Eloise, Elise or Erin are the frontrunners at the mo but Erin is a bit popular if you look on the lists although i don't know anyone called any of those names. I am not in love with any of those names OH picked one of them and the others are my attempt to choose
Boy Jude, Lewis or Sam although its amazing how meeting a couple of kids called Lewis and one called Sammy has put me off so Jude is the definite frontrunner.
We never really made a decision on names last time and she ended up as Millie by default cos it was the only name we agreed on but it does suit her.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -

HURRAH! finally, after announcing that im pregnant on here back in early december, ive finally caught up with all these pregnancy threads and posts!!! its taken me forever but def worth it, i laughed and cried with you all. i even tried to print out the coupon just now, but it screwed the office printer up so much, it had to be turned off and everyone lost their printing!!! oppps!!
im currently 10+5. no being sick but alot of tiredness and nausea. in the last few days, ive had the odd bit of brown discharge which im assuming is normal but i do get scared whenever i see it, and have to remind myself, its not bright red and theres no cramps so it must be normal!!
i have my first check up etc on monday 26th, heard nothing about any sort of scan though. which is what id love, i just want to know everything is ok. i still feel weird telling people im pregnant, its so surreal.
ive already starting buying things but only when theyre bargains. ive bought 690 pounds of mamas and papas furniture for 206 off ebay over the weekend!!!
now ive aught up, youll be hearing alot more from me!! hope everyone is well!!! xxx0 -
