I didn't know I had until I asked the MW as it all happened so fast I knew I was bound to have. No time or inclination for panting inbetween pushing. Everything has healed up just fine and you will be amazed at how quickly your body recovers .
xx
At my Parentcraft class the MW was telling us that the chances of tearing are pretty low using active birthing and reduced intervention that they practice at our hospitalThat put me at ease a little...although she also said that you are unlikely to tear with a waterbirth and ladybird did

. Would your sister not call him Ed? (or is that not allowed?!
).
xx
SHE doesn't like Ed either  although she will allow Edward but doesn't like Eddie or Teddy as shortened ones either - Can't wait until she has a sprog of her own :cool:0 -
The statistics at my hospital scare me a bit:
http://www.frimleypark.nhs.uk/departments/maternity/statistics
Episiotomy - total - 607 (14.3%)
Episiotomy with spontaneous vaginal birth - 220 (8.1%)
That seems really high!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Thanks
my sister has refused to acknowledge Edgar as a name and says she'll call it my the middle name if a boy
Sorry, but thats a bit rude, his name is his name...how confused will he be if she calls him by his second name?A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition~ William Arthur Ward ~0 -
Right, I've had my fix of MSE now after doing some chores
.
The presents keep arriving and my dining room resembles a gift shop. Need to open, write down who has bought what, and then on to the 'thank-yous'. A Mummy's work is never done!
See y'all later alligator :rotfl:

The girl's name we like is finally growing on my mum - due to her seeing a little girl on tv with the same name and she decided she liked it by the end of the half hour programme!
My MIL is coming over soon and I'm not dressed. Had a nap and woke up feeling worse so don't really want to get dressed either! :cool:0 -

Lou I love my sis, she's my best friend too but she can be a right biatch sometimes  I'm sure she'd get over it and just use it, but she doesn't see us too much as she lives on the other side of the country0
