Any of you guys getting any other furntiure for your nurserys?? Im on such a tight budget Im struggling to justify anything at the mo.

We're getting cot for nursery brand new and crib for our room second hand as I don't think it'll be used for that long. Other than that, we're rejigging our bedroom furniture and moving one of our wardrobes into the nursery - I won't need my work clothes, so I'm going to pack them all away in vacuum bags in the loft and share a wardrobe with the baby for my casual clothes (if they ever make it out of the wash>wear>wash>wear cycle! Note, no ironing going on!). We're having a chair in the nursery, but it'll be the single futon that I've got stored in my parents' loft. Other than that, just a travel system and bouncy chair for the living room, I think.

I was slouching in a low chair at lunchtime and one of the girls gasped and pointed and realised I have a visable bump (she knew I was preg!). Then told the others and they've been talking to my belly for the rest of the day... Great, shift guys talk to my boobs and the office girls talk to my belly!!

We're not getting any nursery furniture either... Baby's things will somehow get squeezed in with Aimee's things eventually... No idea how seeing as her drawers and wardrobe are chocker! Might have to get ruthless... Aimee didn't have any of her own furniture till she was about 10 months old... She didn't really have many clothes before that... And I think in the early days her clothes used to just get stacked in the cot... Until she started sleeping in it... Was a long time ago... And I was very sleep deprived at the time!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Hello fellow oldies!!

I'm 37 years old, and 36+4 weeks pregnant. I had my DS at 26 and DD at 29, and i'm finding it all a lot more tiring this time round, with lots more aches and pains!!

Might just be me - but i'm still waiting for that blooming/energetic stage :rotfl:

I have quite a gap between mine too. One is almost 17 and the other one 15...I seem to remember feeling better after about 12 weeks but im really flagging this time....my hips are sore and really shattered. I think im going to leave work asap but i think im going to struggle to make it that far if i dont start to feel better soon.....i dont think i'll ever bloom:rotfl:

Sami...you made me laugh but how true x

Congratulations Ladybird...looking forward to hearing all about it x

    Hi Girls...

Furniture for baby's room, we have a cot in there and that's it...apart from that I will get a chest of drawers. That's all I ever had in the boys rooms, and found I needed nothing else, oh apart from a plastic tub to throw the toys into to tidy the room....

What a funny coincidence that you were talking about eating game to boost iron levels!!!!! I had just had a txt from my mum asking if I wanted any rabbit or pheasant. I had txt back to say no, but then read on here about the iron and promptly txt back to say I would give a pheasant a try...I have never tried it before so have no idea what to do with it, but I'm willing to give anything a go as I am that tired I can barely get out of bed in the morning. Once I am up I find myself back in bed within an hour or two. I never found out my actual heamaglobin result, but I can gues by how tired I am that it was very low!! I am on iron tabs off doc, and have been taking them for two weeks now but can't feel any improvement:(
    Roll on pheasant:)

Today I have been round Cheshire Oaks and the Coliseum shopping with dh, who needed a coat, I am exhausted.

    Mel x

Wow - that is a BIG gap!!

I was planning on my mat leave starting at 38 weeks - like with the last two :rotfl: - but i gave in, and took some annual leave to finish work yesterday. Its been a struggle lasting for this long!
