There was 19 months between our first too although that was a while ago nowWe had a M&P aria twin, which for the time it was used was fab. Lightweight (when empty!) easy to fold, would stand up on its own, large shopping basket and was quite narrow (for a double pram!) very easy to manouver too. I know they still make Aria's so am presuming that they still make the double... DD1 was very independant though and I think I only used it for 6-8months gave up trying to strap her in in the end  The downsides would have been shopping basket would sometimes drag (and get a hole in it) harnesses were very neat (i.e. dd1 is/was very petite and with a winter coat on you somtimes struggled to buckle up)
Although I guess you need to choose if you prefer a side-by-side or a one-infront-of the-other pram.
It has been a very long 2 1/2 weeks lurking :rolleyes:due with number 4 on the 2nd September(I am so paranoid was trying to wait for 12wks but DH keeps on telling people :rotfl:)
Congratulations ChasingButterflies!
Thanks for the advice...I've actually got a Mamas & Papas store on my door step. It's only just opened so I'll drop in & have a look. :T
I spent sooo much money on my Quinny Buzz set that next time I don't want to splash out so much if Ruby isn't going to be using it for long.
Speaking of which...Are buggy boards compatible with the Quinny Buzz? I suppose once Ruby is happy to walk more there would be nothing to stop me getting one of these & then I can still use this. Hmmmm...So many things to consider. :rotfl:Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!
Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:0 -
Boodle - congrats - I frequent both the family and the old-style boards - so this would interest me no matter where it was! I'm 9wks pregnant, SAHM to 2yo DS. DH & I have been trying to stay careful on money, although it can sometimes be tough. Good luck to you!MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

Thanks for the link to the liquid Folic Acid (forgotten already who it was oops sorry) - have ordered some - its says you can add it to milk!! seem to be living off the stuff at the mo so hopefully will be able to take it with the milk...should please the Dr.
I remember reading a while back about a good book for OH to read, although mine is being very nice, I think he thinks i am exaggerating it slightly and cant seem to get his head round the sleepyness and sickness because there is no bump! Just wanted him to read something that will make him understand that most women feel rubbish during early pregnancy and im not just being OTT!!!
How do all manage to chat soooo much on here, am currently on the phone at work on hold so thought i would catch up with you all quickly!!

Well we had the offical scan yesterday and everything looks fine - It was great to see bump and see that everything was OK. We got some amazing pics as well. DH got a bit choked up and said "oh **** it's real isn't it!" LOL
I'm officially 12+6 today and I'm going to tell work this morning, a bit worried on how they're going to react as I've only been here 10 weeks and the major project they brought me in for is due in August - September which is when I'll be on Mat leave
Hopefully they'll be OK - Once they know I'll tell friends I don't see that often and then I can post a piccie on facebook and come and join you ladies :T
So question of the morning, how do I add myself to the list? My EDD is 16th July.copy n paste it into reply box and pop urself in there

I recommend this book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blokes-100-Tips-Surviving-Pregnancy/dp/140190792X
its short n sweet and humorous written by a bloke it tells them basically to do as they are told, be prepared to sleep on the sofa for seemingly no reason etc. my hubby enjoyed it and made me laugh too0 -

I don't think she's ever been a lollypop head but she did have a pretty decent body from doing musicals. it was the chin that did it for me it was almost like fred elliots waddle! in that tight cream dress she looked about 8mths gone
Makes me soo thankful I have a good dose of my daddy's skinny genes to balance my mum's tubby gene! I've always been paranoid that like her I would get fatter with each child, never loosing it and spend the rest of my life creeping up to a 22 like her, but I think I've got enough will power to get back to the gym when the bubs are at school/nursery.
Can you beleive that pre Chris I used to say "I'd rather die than be a sz12, thats sooo fat" you'll be glad to know I've changed seeing as I've been a size 12 for nearly 2yrs now and actually wouldn't mind staying one :T hubby hates it when I'm skinny, he really went of the ol' *ahem* when I was a teeny 7st:o I'm quite happy being 8st 7lb now and hope I'll make it back to this weight after bump.
sorry went on a bit there!0
