Just when I was getting excited. It blows my £1400 budget again with a car.

Wintersunholidays now seem to have two prices, the line that said (triple) at £903 has disappeared and instead we have:

All Inclusive Junior Suite Standard (Special Offer) £785.00
All Inclusive Junior Suite Standard (Special Offer) £899.00

The £785 price looks good - that would be £746 with the 5% discount.

I wonder what the diffference in the rates is, I can't see any details. I've emailed them to ask.

    <update> nothing - same rooms!

    Great stuff!

I've booked the hotel with wintersunholidays and flights with XL. Hope they don't ask to see my Scuba diving gear :-) .

Now to try out some car discount codes...

Looks like it's going to be smack on budget, including a car for the week. Saving about £250 off firtschoice's price today (which has gone up another £50).

With XL I don't get tickets I just turn up with the itinary?

I've been keeping an eye on the First Choice site as well. We want to book a summer holiday to the same place as last year in Crete. Last year the prices online were like a yo-yo, this year they are static.

I am hoping the price comes down as we paid £900 last year and this year looking around £1500 just for a week

I spoke too soon. Just checked the F/Choice site they have put the adult price up by an extra £100 on yesterday

I have tried putting it together myself, but maybe I am not looking in the right place. I'll post the details and maybe you will be able to help me.

Departure date 18th July Gatwick to Chania
    7 nights.
    2 Adults 1 child (9)
Louis Creta Princess, Maleme, Crete All inclusive

Thanks for any help Their site quotes £1532 for 1 week.
