Am hoping someone can help? I bought my son a coat at the instore sale and the 1st time he wore it the press stud came off the sleeve leaving a hole - not a major issue if I wanted a refund but I really love the coat (had been yearning for it for ages!) and I know they won't have any left instore and I won't get such a lovely coat for the £15 if I got a refund. My friend has suggested asking for a further reduction on the item - any ideas?

    TIA

It's not the Black parka is it with the split hood?

All the sale stuff I took back to the store (ordered online via VIP), they took out of the packaging and told me it was going on the shop floor ratherthan being sent back. Made me wonder what they were going to do with the branded stuff like adidas trainers I returned as never seen these sold on shop floor before.

    Guys,

    After a little advice

I've had about 70% of my order now and of the 15 bags i had which was about 60 items or so (the first day, had about another 10 since too) 1 of them was missing but it was on the invoice. So i rang them up and told them about the missing item and they said they would investigate and lmk.

So i then called them about another 3 missing items a few days later (which all were delayed) and asked about the missing item and they said a letter would be sent out which i would need to sign and return.

I've had one before about 2 years ago when the same thing happend about a rug that was invoiced and was not in my order. And i got a letter which i signed and returned and got the refunded added to my account.

Anyway, the letter said after their investigation they claimed the item was in with the following invoice numbers (which are the 15 bags i got).

I'm gonna ring them tomorrow as only just got home but has anyone else had this sort of letter? There is no way i paying £20 for a top which i did not get, and i spent over £1100 on this sale and i say the average item was £20 and alot where over with some as much as £70.

bought a bunk bed in the sale, and commented to OH when opening it, that i hoped it was all there, as it looked like it had been re-wrapped

so before assembling, i made sure every part was there, and not damaged - nope, eveything ok

well 2hrs later (and much arguing between me and OH), weve 3/4s finished the bed, when we find we cant get the top bunk to fit - seems the fixings have been welded on in the wrong place

rang Next, they have no more left in stock, they cant send replacement parts, and if i want to return it, i have to dismantle it and repack it! well the packing went straight in the bin, and theres no way im spending another 2hrs taking the things apart (tbh i dont think some of it comes apart, once snapped in place). So im now stuck with a bunk bed, thats only got a lower bunk

OH, thinks we might be able to get someone to re-weld the fixing in the right place, but thats an added expense

So, once ive calmed down abit, im gonna ring Next again. But what do people think i should ask for. Next to collect the bed in its present half assembled state - money off, so i can at least see it we can fix the weld, or should i just give in, take it apart myself, try and pack it in something and return it as requested?

    Hello,

I've had the same thing happen to me. I've had one item missing on a previous order and just had to sign a form and send it back.
This last order was missing a suit jacket from one package - which contained one other suit jacket and was not sealed at the end. I reported it straight away and was told I'd receive a letter to sign as previously.
When I received the letter it stated that the matter had been investigated by the courier dept and since the item was listed on the invoice as being in the package that was the end of the matter.
I called them straight away and was told I was going to be charged for the item and that if I 'still wanted to pursue the matter' I should write a letter stating the item was not in the package.
I rang back and complained and a lady explained that the policy had changed and that hopefully after my letter was received I should be refunded.
Hopefully this will happen as the item was something I really wanted and I've subsequently had to return the matching suit trousers as the jacket is now out of stock. I have to admit I was a little stressed by the letter as I really can't afford to pay £40 for something I don't have.

I've had some more stuff arrive today on the 2-4 week delay. Sofa bed is due tomorrow from 7.30am onwards. Oh joy!! They are calling me half an hour before they get here though so at least I can work it around the school run.

i had 2 items missing from one package, and although they were stamped "to follow" on the delivery note it seems i have been charged for them. so they sent me a letter to complete and sign.

i also had another 3 items missing from another package, however the letter i got just said we have investigated and the 3 items were in a parcel with a load of other items and thats the end of the matter!

fortunately for me the other 3 items arrived in a different parcel with no reference to them on the delivery note of the parcel they were in.
