just did another load of batch cooking - pasta sauce with 3lb of free tomatoes (had for lunch and the rest frozen, 2 meals), brussel sprout and lentil curry with 4lb free sprouts (all frozen, 5 meals) and banana marmalade with orange, cranberry and ginger with free box of nanas (all jarred (11 big jars!) and labelled). the marmalade is divine. and iv cooked it all with what i had in the cupboards or freezer, bit chuffed:jsaved lots of pennies

  • Woo... it's payday.

There's a few hundred going into various savings by direct debit tomorrow, but I've rounded down and popped £3.49 into my virtual sealed pot bringing it to a grand total of £6.99 :D

Another £10 in mine. Had to do an over-pay to make my monthly total, as I won't get any wages next week. Anything else that goes in there this month will now be a bonus.
