  • Hi,

This is my first time on here and I can't even work out how to start a new thread. I really need help & advice please. I am £10k in debt and I have no idea what to do. I can't tell anyone bout this as my parents will disown me as they don't believe in borrowing & credit cards etc and I daren't tell my boyfriend as I fear he will break up with me. I dread the phone ringing incase it is someone chasing money, all I want is to be debt free but there seems to be no end to it. I can't sleep for worrying about it and somedays there only ever seems to be one way out.

Please can someone help me, I am only 23 but feel my life is over.

I'm sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place but I couldn't find anywhere else to write. Sorry.

    Thank you.

    HI,

I'd like to join this challenge, though the way I approach it is slightly different.

I put aside roughly 10% of my weekly salary into a savings account each week. As a supply teacher, I don't do my 'main' job in the holidays, so need to make sure I have enough put aside to cover everything that needs covering!

I know it isn't the same, as I'm not rounding down my account, but it is important for me to do this.

Is it ok if I join in? Since January I have put aside £140... My aim is at least £100 a month, but more if work allows.

    Thanks. :)
