Another £9.40 for me today - I'm amazed that the odd change that I'm transferring is adding up so quickly in savings, but I really don't notice those small amounts leaving my account.

Just transferred another £10 as I counted up my actual sealed pot of change and was able to scrape together a tenner in silver - brought it into PT job, changed for a crisp £10, transferred £10 from current into savings account and put £10 in purse!

Signature update, have broken the £200 barrier!

Don't normally know what I've added, I want it to be a surprise, but today I put in a £2 coin and couple of 20p, I've put in a few £1 already. Hoping it's a worthwhile surprise when I open it!

    COUNT ME IN PLEASE

I started doing this last year and then forgot, so really chuffed that it has been made into a challenge. I am also doing the normal sealed pot challenge, but this is great as it keeps all my accounts neat and tidy. What do you do with the extra monies that are in your savings account - where do you put those?:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

With Barclays I am unable to do a transfer into my savings account under £1 so at the moment I have 24p sitting there waiting to be transferred asap. Will have to go and spend now to use my debt card so can make the transfer (ha! ha!) :rotfl:

No target but will do this until christmas next year and then use on a pair of Ugg boots, I think.

PS Meant to say that I hope that I am not too late in joining, as only just came across this thread this evening - thank you!

    a) It's never too late to join!
    b) You don't have a target, so again, joining late isn't an issue :D

You'll doubtless get a number soon!
