A couple of pounds have turned up in my account, new total in sig. Have also set up my linked accounts so that all interest goes into my virtual sealed jar :)

Welcome, I'm sure :) It works well for me as I have various accounts (gifts/holidays etc.) where it makes more sense for me to keep just the capital balance. For example, if I make random additional payments I like to see the true balance, not the balance plus interest. I find this is easier for keeping my spreadsheets in check!

There have been a few virtual clunks this week, so I've updated my signature accordingly. I also made some extra small payments that haven't been updated thanks to the sluggish banking system, so my total should be ~£75 come the new year (a.k.a. 25% towards target!) If I keep it up at this rate I may need a higher target :D

i think im going to reach mine earlier than expected too, but then i might just start again in a diff savings account and save towards something else eg a nice holiday:cool:
