the girls in our store saidthere will be further markdowns but as
the sale was announced so late they havent had t to swap the tills over night.

Iread summat earlier that iceland bought 100 stores?

Now that would be cool, an iceland in petersfield how fab. Esp as they will compete with likes of M & S and waitrose in the town. Where did you find this out about iceland buying 100 of their stores?

  • I was told exchange only, unless faulty but faults would have to be proven, as in inspected by management!!!

when dh was in woolies earlier today the checkout lady was very chirrpy and said no point in worrying and just to get on with it, fair play to her. she also was telling him how the press were there that morning, she decided to flash her boobs at them. she said they cant sack me so why not lol

That's one way to get the customers in, well half of them at least.
The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water

as from today, it is exchange only.

You can only refund if it is faulty.

This is not a Woolworths decision(why would we cause this amount of chaos!!) it is the administraters.
The lady with the £50 refund, if there was nothing wrong with it why were you trying to return it? Surley you could exchange for something else in the store??

If you ring your local branch im sure they will give the the head office phone number for you to complain and im sure they will listen :rotfl:

that is so unfair not allowing returns, why would you want to exchange something as if it breaks at xmas you cant even return it! theyre overpriced too even with the sale no wonder theyve gone bust.
