    13 out of 15

Really annoyed with myself for not getting one of them correct as I worked out the reasoning, put incorrect answer down - long time since I worked things out like this in my head. Did not see the pattern in one so put an incorrect guess down

Had no problem passing the real 11 plus

Rather pleased as got boarderline in the real 11+
Think that I'm thinking quicker in some ways eg didn't bother working out whole code but just a couple of letters
got last one in each of number sections wrong - well very last question ran out of time before seeing pattern
lol that would be borderline though, dear! lmao

I got 13/15. On behalf of all those who failed the 11 plus, there is life afterwards and I have a good honours degree. Much ,much too early to seperate the stars from the rest.

    hear hear
have had this discussion before. Although both of mine passed the 11 plus with flying colours, neither were tutored. In 90 odd percent of 11 plus passes, the children are tutored. You can tutor a monkey to pass the 11 plus. Our local authority says it is meant to be a test of IQ and children should not be tutored prior to the exam! They nearly all are though, and why? So parents can say "My so and so is at grammar school."
It's cruel to the child, and there are many far brighter children in comps than in many grammars. In both my children's schools there are kids getting D's and E's in their GCSEs and doing FIVE re-sits to attain a C grade!!
Any child at grammar should be achieving no less than an A in each subject, first go, but they don't, as they are not bright, just tutored! The schools has "standards" to achieve, so it makes the kids resit and resit, ( and redo coursework) until at least a C is achieved.
Any child that is unable to pass without tuition will be far happier and do better at a comprehensive.

Ah well, I just ran out of time - 12/15 so no 'A' for me then but I did get the 12 that I answered right so I can feel pretty pleased with myself ;)

13/15, probably could have worked the last two questions out but numbers were never my thing!
