Hi Mum2one,
Nice to see you had a good Day out is DD ok now?
Ex boyfriend... thats good you can still chat, I have my first love, who i class as a very good friend, he even let me live in his house for 12months when i left my ex.. he wasnt living there, its a precious relationship, and we go for months without talking but are just the same when we do meet up.
I am aching today, I painted some fences yesterday, my legs are tight and I still have a cold!! Gerrrr!!! Anyways The sun is out, and its a lovely day to be out doors,
Hope you had a good weekend,
X
P.s.. the date was a nightmare!!!! lolBR on 21st December 2009.. life begins!0 -
Ah, sorry the date didnt work out, dare I ask!! DD lt better, shes gone to her friends to play (they have a wii...........so she wants one....she can wait!!), and 4 tea, in theory I should be catching up with ou, but debateing whether to have 40 winks then an hr or so on ou.
That was energetic with the fences, we were organised and make xmas tags yesterday!! all money saving as dd says, in reality she wants teh difference to go up for her wii fund!! Can't pull the wool over her eyes for anything xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
They are too clever kids today but at least she's learning the value of money whilst she's saving up fot that Wii.0

I know shes only 6, but where money is concerned shes got her head screwed on. Shes really good with her money, I know she wants a wii, but hopefully there come down a bit in price by xmas, and mum said her and dad will help out towards it, dad doesnt have a say...........but still for dd to help towards it, even if its a game shes gets herself. She brought herself a tv last yr for her bedrm, got it out of her xmas /bday money, but treats it like gold, same as her mobile, she got that herself, set it up with vodafone, if we put £5 a month, she gets free texts in evening at weekends, she offered to pay the £5 a mth from her pocket money, I said we'd gp halves, theres time I could just cry, she has her moments, but when its a heartfelt moment, she really does care, she watched the danceing on ice, (no school 2mor) so we said she could watch the dance off, she got in a right mood that Mellisa had been boooted off, wagging her finger at the telly, then stomped across to her poffeesat down arms folded in protest!! xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Not much to say, had a weekend of no spends, think Feb budgetting planning went a bit out of the window, with Half term, being tempted at Home Bargains, and haveing new glasses.
The good news the Sat Nav - that will be fully money neutral, used some mystery shopping money, and review money, thats all waiting to come throu, but when the credit card bill comes be all ready.
Glasses - there coming out of my student grant, (sods law), but at least in a round about way I havent footed the bill.
Ink cartridges - after paying £44 for cheapie ink cartridges, (they should last gd 6-9 mths0, have found a seller on ebay that does the exact same 12 for £10 + postage (£15), there now on favourites list.
All credit card bills paid, going to have a final look at bank balance, think dads share of rent etc will be less than planned, but hopefully thats a one pff.
Out for a curry tonight with friends, dads well trained and taking me + picking up, I'm flavour of the month, spent most of yesterday afternoon trying to hunt him a replacement 2nd hand car dr from the scrap yard, got one on the 6th phone call, (his original idea was to drive round Telford and hope for the best), my idea ring round, so went and picked it up last night, so the sat nav got an outing, which was an absolute god send, as where we thought we were going and the scrap yard was about 5 miles apart.
Been very good and studied most of this morning, week behind on OU, but hopeing to catch up and by next week be on track, then its 1st assisgnememt to do..........(help)
Still in touch with ex - bless him, hes full of regrets for everything he did, he had bad drinking habit, lost count of the number of times he use to fall asleep when we were out, sunday lunch, family meals, cinema, and indian restaurants.
Best or naughty thing I did, (he had a small bald patch) I coloured it in with lipstick and the back of his neck and on his forehead, apparently the next day he went into work, from what I gathered it was bed, loo, clothes out, when he got to work they thought he had a brain injury, called 999, only when the ambulance crew came out they found out it was lipstick!!
I'm happy as keeping him as a friend, but dont think were be seeing wedding bells, thou last ngt he told me that among his regrets was not marrying me!
Off to get dd now, will catch up with budget etc later in eek. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Everything seems to be ticking along nicely which can't be bad in the current climate.0
