I have a slight confession, technically I have had a no spend day, as it went on dads credit card!.
The opticians appointment, needed glasses so did bogof (Specsavers) he'll have to wait for the money!
Then I got in my "I want modes" so I came out of Halfords with a Sat Nav
(co dads credit card), but I've had some mshop money and quido payments total £70 got to find £47.
I was going to pay the mshop money off debts, but in the long run the sat nav pay off, got to travel to Wolverhampton for tutorial on Sat (for OU), and feel safer, and I know that my debts will be paid off, and I've scrimped and saved with bday, xmas prezzies, I have the social life of a hermit, so blown it.
He wanted nothing to do with it, but as soon as i got back in the car, while are we going to try it out, now the best thing since buttered bread, how great it is, we can use it between both cars........3 miles home from Halfords, but everytime it gave a instruction he was so exicted..........thats men for you!.
DD is taking me to the pics Wed (Orange 2 4 1), shes paying, feel really quilty, but as I told her Id took her + her friend sat am (£1.00 showing), I took her Sat aftternnon to see Hotel for Dogs, which is brillaint, but she wants to see Bolt, and our cinema has 3d only version, even 2 4 1 its £9.00 but it teaches her the value of money.
So now plan to have Wed/thurs/fri and sun as no spend days.
I've done well on this months payments, there all set to come out by the 12th, (still in OD), but in limit, so hopefully any left at end of month will pay a little extra of debts. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
What a night, just been out to garden with the dog, to find our shed has been broken into, luckly doesnt look like anything major has been stolen, but stuff is sprawled over the garden including the lawn mower, very dodgy!!
Reported it to the police, but due to our previous circumstances (the ex neighbours) apparently my report will be looked into, not allowed to put anything back into the shed as they may want to send forencies around, so now killing time.
The neighbour at the back of us, his 2 sheds are less than 2 foot away from ours and what a surprise they havent been broke into..........
Poor mum is in a state, theyve lived here since 1969 and this is the first time anything like this has happened. Sent dad up to bed, so can catch up in peace with all the mse goings on. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Oh no what a nightmare for you. Hope your parents are ok - its not nice to think that someone has been around the house.
Hope they didnt get too much stuff and fingers crossed the police can get some forensics too.
Hugs x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

That's terrible for you. It is very unnerving when anything happens like that, hope it is sorted quickly.xxBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Thank you both, good news is they dint take anything, just finished with the police, the quickest they have ever attended, theyve found fingerprints on a couple of the items, so there now awaiting the forencis officer tomorrow.
I feel so stupid, I'm more annoyed, upset to an extent, feel stupid reporting it as nothing was stolen, but more a security measure for us.
Update the policeman just called back, unfortunatley as the items had been outside theyve been contaminated, and any fingerprints would be no good. So day of studying tomorrow for me, at least be no spend day......con dad to get some sweets from asda in the morning, hate paying cinema prices.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Dont feel stupid for reporting, if that happened to me Id be very worried. It is strange that nothing got taken.
Good luck with the studying today:j0 -
Sorry to hear about the shed. How awful!!!!..hope your mum is getting over the shock.Don't feel stupid about reporting it as crimes should be reported.0

Its all fun and games, but guess if it was all smooth going it wouldnt be the same!
DD now has German Measles, she came home from school last ngt with spots on her front and back, but she suffers from dry skin, so we thought it was a allergy to the cream we put on her. Rang docs last ngt to be on safe side, but went to the Cinema, can highly recommend Bolt, it was gd, thou Hotel for Dogs still my fav.
Docs appointment this morning, shes got german measles, the weird thing is shes fine in herself, but apparently the contagious time is b4 the spots appear, she had a cold and sniffles last week, so sent her off to school as normal, as if you kept them off with every sniffle, mini cough she would never be in school.
Parents evening tonight............so will report after xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
So true about kids. DD1 was really whinging and playing up the two days before she came out with Chicken pox. Most bugs etc start the same.
Hope she is better soon and doesnt suffer too much.:j0
