Mum2One the OU course is a fabulous start to the year. Whats the course title?
The extra bank charges are pants. I hate banks. I've spent the last week unsuspiciously shopping them whilst standing opposite them taking a photo in the rain. Who on earth dreams up these thing? Hello yes I'm average Joe, just a regular customer with a fetish for taking photos of banks, oh and by the way could you just stick your foot up on the counter love so that I can see if you've got shiny shoes. Yes of course thats normal behaviour. Either way its loadsa money extra when they eventually get round to paying it.
Glad you got some bargains in Boots. My local one was dire. All they had left was the £40 aromatherapy kits with a few handcreams in them and the sort of tat that no sane person would consider buying. I was going to surf t'internet to see what the on-line sale was like but that appears to have died permanently. On a more positive note it does stop me from spending money that I don't need to spend so its not all bad. I have enough handcreams, shower gels and bubble baths to keep me going until next Christmas. I may even rediscover the shelf that lurks under all the lotions and potions.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

Did you get your Tooth sorted out? Hope so...
Take care and remember, you'll be DF one day (hopefully soon!!)
Thank you, the tooth is half sorted, she put a filling in it, so its now half filling, half tooth, but its still hurting, the filling comes down bit lower than the tooth, (joke should be doing the diet good), just going to hold on, I get the dentist free, but still hate them!. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Im doing the Business and the environment course, bit nervous, but at least keep me out of trouble!!
Think you and my dd would make a perfect pair, Im sure she has more make up and toilettries to fill up Boots empty shelves, thou I have to admit I do have a small collection of smellies, lethal when I go down to Devon, do a detour via Clarks Village at Street, shopping outlet village and the Body Shop usually has brilliant deals.
Good luck with the bank jobs, I have done a couple before, but they want the ins and outs so gave up on them, that and I couldnt stand long with the crutches, the worst ones are when u have to give eye colour, "look into my eyes..............2 Im sure people think were mad or trying to pull them.
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
What a night 2 hrs in a+e with dd, she managed to tip her tea over her foot, (ABC spaghetti - as I got corrected when I said it was spaghetti), gd news was as I had plunged her foot straight into cold water, did the right thing, sods law by the time she got seen her foot looked normal......to make up for the accident, she asked could she go to McDonalds on fri after Ballet....cant really begrudge her, my fault as much as hers about the spillage.
On the debt free wannabe front -
Upto £5.50 with TAB scratchcards, so as soon as that comes to £10. be withdrawn and go off a debt.
Im doing the reviews for Qype to earn a £50 Virgin voucher, so far I'm up to £7.50.......get there.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Injuries always seem better the moment you step into the GPs / Hospital! Glad to hear she is ok though.:j0

 to DD's injury, but glad she's ok
Reminds of when mine used tv table to pull herself upright aged 9 months & the whole lot fell on top of her... blood gushing from her mouth, doctor called as I suspected teeth to be embedded in her chin & of course by the time he arrived blood all gone to reveal a tiny cut
I now know that lips swell & bleed profusely but rarely cause lasting damag . Trampolines at parties are however, lethal  & incur broken elbows, cancelled swimming courses, ruined summer holidays & a whole new wardrobe .
Well done on the OU courseI withdrew from my last one rather than fail miserably due to lack of time but I might just take a peek & see what's new on their site.
Good work on the scratchcards & qype
take care

Lula-Hula - sounds like youve had the fun and games then!! Avoiding trampolines for as long as we can!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Thankfully no major injuries on our trampoline despite half the neighbourhood in our garden during the summer. So scared something bad could happen. Whay do boys think wrestling and powerranges are good games on the trampoline? The girls are just as bad with flips and things despite me telling them not too. It does burn off there energy though.
Hows things at the mo M21?:j0 -
Good news - no more bank charges,
slowly getting sorted, plan of action this week id to finish the Qype reviews, so that be £50 Virgin voucher, come in useful for something!
Another NSD am very pround of myself, am aiming for a no spend week, (bar bills).
Then next week plan is make sure got everything ready for OU, annoying thing is tutorials are in Wolverhampton, anout 80 mile round trip, but I found them useful on other courses, thou the plus side to that is, if dad drives me he gets paid mileage and his time (he's classed as my carer with OU, coz stuck on crutches), but it means he has to hang around Wolverhampton, and the tutorials are about every 4 - 6 weeks.
Then next week sort through Feb's budget, getting there slowly, this debt is not going to beat me I'm going to beat it.
Also decided to do a list of 40 things to do before I'm 40, just started that - could be fun, but its another incentive to help the debt free front. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Just paid another 2 payments on my credit cards, got to do a new expenses plan for Feb to take into account the bank charge of £28.00 + interest on OD, plan them at the start of the month should be ok.
Still doingwell with Jans budget, so far, not put petrol in car, not spent either dd or mine clothing allowance, if theres any money left go towards the OD, as want to get it back to the 1,000 limit, as its temporary 1250 to allow for those lovely charges! xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
