If you didn't request the sample and these are unsolicited goods, then it is illegal for them to demand payment for them and you can keep the items sent as an unconditional gift. Now come on folks - don't blame Silkies because you didn't read full the terms and conditions of the offer. I have been using Silkies to purchase hosiery for past 20 years - the quality is absolutely fanstic -they last far longer than any I purchase on the high street or from the supermarket, and because of this I have often had to cancel after a couple of deliveries otherwise I would have so many that I could start my own shop! As for the offer of a free pair it clearly states on the coupon that you will receive several pairs of the same, the one free pair is yours to keep whatever, but if you don't want the others all you have to do is return them so that your account can be credited. If you keep the first delivery and don't cancel it clearly states that you will receive further deliveries if you don't cancel and that you can return these if you decide that you don't want them. There is a recommendation card in every order that i have received. I have never had any problems returning or cancelling any order - and before you ask I don't work Silkies or any of their agents - I like most people am either looking for a bargain or value for money - and value for money is what you get with a pair of silkies tights.0

I don't know why you are having so many problems with Silkies. I started off as a customer by sending off for the free pair - yes I also got several pairs sent with an invoice which I was expecting having read the terms and conditions. Over the last 20 years I have suspended and restarted my account several times due to the fact that the quality of these tights is so good I didn't need to keep receiving the delivery every 4 weeks. But each time I have no problems cancelling future deliveries or returning unwanted deliveries that have arrived after I sent my cancellation letter. Try phoning them or emailing them to discuss - but you should have sent the tights you didn't want straight back - if you don't open the packaging you just take them back to the post office and ask them to return them as "undelivered" and them make sure that you send a letter cancelling your membership by recorded delivery, checking on the Royal Mail website tracker that it has been delivered and printing the confirmation for your records.0

I suppose anything can be put inthe terms and conditions like the customer agrees to pay £1m! The point is silkies mislead the customer by using dodgy marketing focus. I wouldn;t touch them with a bargepole!Bandit_Lady wrote: »I don't know why you are having so many problems with Silkies.
