Just had a very polite email back from 'Sickies' and freepost address to send back the tight plus asssurances that the account has been closed. Very unnerved by the whole business though and what has been said in the posts. Even though, admittedly, Ishould have read the small print, sellers have responsibility too to make it clear what they are selling and how. Please complain to the magazine and also complain to consumer direct. Consumer Direct.
Thanks for all who posted :T0 -

I was really surpised to see the 4 pairs in the post. I am very careful when it comes to small print and am very suspicious about this. I just stuck mine back in the post with return to sender written on it. Not sure if this is going to be effective but I managed to eleminate all junk mail using this method. Hopefully the fact that they have to pay when it is returned to them will make them think before sending me anything else. Watch this space!;)“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”:D0

These lot have been doing this for years and years. I remember being taken in by a similar offer in a magazine well over 10 years ago, I thought they would have been made to make it clearer that you would end up forking out every month by now. And yes - Prima should be ashamed of themselves for including things like this. you are as you are, if you aren't as you ought to be.0
