    Oh no!

I did this a few years ago and sent two rock t-shirts to the same person. They then refused to send the wrong t-shirt on and gave me half of what the other person had paid. If they had been in this country, I would have got the police involved. (And no they weren't cheap - one sold for £75!)

So you have done well. And well done on the listings - are you going to let us know on the other thread so I can sit there and feel guilty and do some myself?!

The wrong person has sent the item (I checked online), so I am just waiting for the right person to contact me confirming receipt.

I paid in the cheque for £65.29 from NPower, so I'll send another payment to the mortgage account for this amount.

This month's overpayment total is £665.29 so far.

I've also joined the MFiT - T2 challenge set up by financialbliss.

My plan is to have the mortgage down to £52,000 by 12/12/12, with my expected starting point to be £88,000 if all goes to plan this year.

Received a letter today from Nationwide confirming our requested reduction in mortgage term remaining.
It now stands at 11 years 9 months.
The payments (from February) will go up from £765 to £891, and we will still be overpaying by £500 each month.

We have finally received our annual statement from Nationwide, and everything is as expected (Post #22).
It looks so much better on official headed paper.

There is £9,700 in the Overpayment Reserve, which we can access whenever we want (but hopefully we won't need to).
Is this similar to an offset?

As I understand it the overpayment reserve is how far ahead of the contractual mortgage repayments you are. Its not an offset per say but you could possibly get back again (in full or part) within a week or 2 if you wish to although this would increase your payments or lead to lengthening the term (back to your origional levels if full amount taken back).

Selling the junk on eBay is going really well and I have still got half the garage to work through.

My total stands at £989 since December '08 when I got the bug.

I'm going to list another 20 items this week, so that they finish at the weekend, and then I'll have 1 week before I go on holiday to get them all sent out (if they sell).

I didn't realise that the free chimps you got with the PG Tips teabags were so desirable.
I've sold 3 for £40 in the last week. I've still kept one for myself.

I finally sold an old (10 year) Swatch watch that was on it's 3rd week of relisting for £16. I had almost given up on getting a sale. Next stop would have been the charity shop.

There was also a handbag that I couldn't seem to get rid off after 3 listings (unsold again and heading for the charity shop), when on Sunday evening I got an email from someone who missed the auction deadline and still wanted to buy it.
We agreed a price and I ended up £8 better off (after fees).

I entered our electricity reading online today and we have a credit of £50.:j
This is after our monthly payments dropped £19 per month when we switched supplier in October last year.

I've been more conscious of energy usage, so I have nagged the OH (leaving lights on etc) and this will have contributed to the reduction.

I've just listed 12 items today, including a bike, a Mini Me (Verne Troyer) doll, PG Tips monkey keyring, Star Wars figures, a printer and a DAB radio.

I'm hoping to clear £300 after fees.

I've still got another 14 items to list, as I got distracted and when I returned it was too late.

I'll list some more on Thursday.

    Just an update.

It's my OH's birthday today, so I'm going to take him out for a meal after work.

I've have a reasonably profitable week on eBay.
8 of the items had to be relisted before they finally sold.
The nett total (after fees etc) since December is £1478.

Some of that (£150) covered the cost of my replacement tyre  .

My car has been booked in for it's service at the start of March and it's part of the Mini TLC package, so no cost there, I hope.

I'll overpay £750 next month (if I can get away with it, like I have done so far :D ), as well as the new monthly payment of £891.
I had been hoping to increase payments to £900 in April, so it is quite pleasing that I have been able to do it sooner.

We're going to Egypt next week (paid for in full with Clubcard Deals vouchers) for a well earned rest, so I am planning deparment schedules etc today to cover my absence at work.

Spending money will be coming out of the eBay profits, so that's nice too.

I joined Greasypalm after reading posts from other members on this forum and in 2.5 weeks, I already have £52 validated.
    How cool is that! :T

I've also joined the Virtual Sealed Pot challenge and opened a seperate online savings account to put in all the money from cashback and survey sites, as I want to see seperately how much income I can generate from them. I already have £39 in my Cashback savings account and £29.91 in my Virtual Sealed Pot (I make a deposit every Friday evening).

I've got to get ready for work now, or I'll be late.
