Sold some of my SAYE shares (5 yr) at the first opportunity and have a gain of £2,200.
I have requested a certificate for the 3 yr ones because the option price is greater than the current share price.
Quidco paid out £20.60
Halifax Rewards account paid out £5.00
I plan to open a few Lloyds TSB Current Accounts with Vantage, to put the money in from the maturing Regular Savings accounts, and this cheque for £5,200.0 -
Hectic day at work (only just got in ).
I might as well update my diary while I wind down.
So far this month eBay sales have gone really well (£2,048) in the last 30 days.
I still have another bag full of bits and pieces to get rid of which should net another £300.
Living room revamp is still ongoing.
Thankfully the sale of the fancy AV equipment has funded it entirely, so no new money.
We are getting a 46" Sony LCD TV and a bespoke AV cabinet (solid wood-my design), with enough money left for wallpaper and an extra mortgage overpayment of £250.
OH has offered to pay an extra £100 into the joint account from June.
I'll see if I can get more out of him.
My car was serviced last week and I had to pay £130 for the rear brakes to be sorted out.
Everything else was in good order, which bodes well for the MOT next month, as my car should pass easily.
Road tax is due for renewal at the end of the month (£110).
There was £272 in my Virtual Sealed Pot at the start of February and it looks like it will be empty by the end of the month.
Can't really complain because I've had £140 of Quidco cashback since 18/01/11. :j
Quidco payment on Monday was £16.74.
I've opened 2 Lloyds TSB VClassic Vantage current accounts for the 4% rate on our money when the regular savers mature.
I have loaded one with the money from my share options I exercised at the start of the month (so that will be earning the 4% rate). Going to open a joint one with OH and then get him to open 3 more.
February overpayment is:- £2,0000 -

Last week we decided to treat ourselves to a quick getaway this weekend.
We are going to the Geneva Motor Show on Sunday and returning on Monday evening. :j
I can't wait to see the Mini Rocketman Concept car.
We using the remaining Airmiles in our account (Thanks to Tesco Clubcard) to book the flights to Geneva, and booked a very nice hotel via Quidco/Expedia (£130 per night).
Cashback has already tracked at £13.30.
Pre-booked airport parking £15.00.
Overpayments for March so far are:- £1,300.
A couple of standing orders to go through in a couple of days, and then I can update the MFiT-T3 challenge with my quarterly figure.
I've got the next 3 days as holiday from work (using up my annual allowance before end of March), so I am going to give the house a proper spring clean.
My AA membership (that I got for peanuts last year) is up for renewal this month (£68), so I will look at cancelling the direct debit and go with another provider. I've just been going through the info on this site and there seem to be several cheap options to choose from.0 -

There won't be any more overpayments this month, as the garage is now clear of all junk and looks so spacious. :j
Just had my friend pop round and take away the stuff (for free) that isn't even worth eBaying. In return she is going to help a friend of mine's son move house, so everyone is happy.
I'm back in work tomorrow, so I need to get all loose ends tied up today, because I won't get a chance tomorrow.
Today- Buy a few Swiss francs today for our trip on Sunday.
- Buy some cheap books for my Kindle.
- Get breakdown cover with RAC via Quidco.
- Batch cooking lunches for next week.
- Vacuum and dust the whole house.
- Sweep the garage floor.
- Pop down to the local Co-Op (that's closing down in a forthight) and see if I can pick up some more heavily discounted bargains (50-75% off).

Had a lovely time at the Motor Show in Geneva and the hotel we stayed in was excellent.
I couldn't believe how expensive it was to eat out.
Cancelled AA memebership (expires 20/03/11) and joined up with RAC via Quidco.
Overall cost (after cashback - if paid) will be £8.00.
I did some batch cooking yesterday and made lunches for work for the next 2 weeks.
Car needs booking in for an MOT (the MINI garage has provisionally booked it in for the 5th April) which I am confident that it will pass.
I think I will look for a cheaper option, since they charge the maximum.
In the last couple of months, it's been serviced (TLC) and had front/rear brakes replaced, windscreen wipers replaced, so I hope to pass first time.
Since buying a Kindle at the end of last month, I am far more impressed with it than I thought I would be.
I have had other e-reader devices, but the Kindle (IMHO) has been the easiet to use.
I've purchased 24 books (19 of them were free) and have read 12 of them so far (partly because I am on holiday from work this week too).
I've even had some NSD because I've been so engrossed in a book that I haven't wanted to do anything else until I get to to the end of it.0
