How much are you getting for your DVDs on ebay?

It depends.
I'm only shifting boxsets, so it can be between £8 and £40.

ah ok, we have a lot of single DVDs, seems more hassle than it is worth to sell. Will take a look at what boxsets we could shift though.

Just finished an overtime shift this evening, and I unfortunately have to work a 13 hour shift tomorrow (Bank Holiday Monday) because of staff sickness and no willing volunteers. It was supposed to be 9 hours (with 90 mins break).
I keep telling myself 'Think of the money'.

I've recently bought a Garmin 200 cycle computer (got it cheaply and then a further £30 cashback currently available), as it is such a great tool.
Now that I am cycling to work more, I can set myself targets each week to get the time down.
I set a new personal best on the way home tonight. :j

Me and 4 of my work colleagues are doing the British Heart Foundation Manchester to Blackpool Night Ride next month (29/09/12), so it is good practice.

It's also the last day of the Paralympics (I hope David Weir gets the gold medal in the wheelchair marathon - currently in 2nd place).

I am on holiday from work at the moment, so going out for longer rides to build stamina/endurance.

I have deferred my place on the Great North Run 2012 to next year (it's this Sunday).
I just couldn't fit in enough training time for both the bike ride and the run.
Since the bike ride is also fund-raising, I have opted to focus on that.

Once the ride is out of the way, I'll get back to running more regularly and complete a few events before the 2013 GNR, and go for a good time (given my age/ability ).

I have signed up for an Open University course that starts next month.
Quite excited and nervous at the same time.

Decided to get a laptop and have been doing a lot of research over the last few weeks (plus eBaying to cover some of the cost).
Selling one of my bikes (the MTB that I haven't ridden for months, since getting my cyclocross bike) and loads of bits and bobs.
Clothing has been quite lucrative for me and a portable DVD player I bought 2 years ago went for £30 more than I paid for it.

I've still got another 28 bits of c**p to get rid off, and maybe more if I can find anything else in the house that isn't tied down.

I'm typing from my new MacBook Air and I love it.
Not the cheapest and probably better specified units out there, but I am sold on the design and the fact that I can integrate it with my other Apple products and run Windows too.

Got a 15% student discount, 75% off 3Yr AppleCare and a £70 Apps gift card.
Need to get a case for it so that it retains it's good looks.

Went for a 25 mile bike ride today, since my Manchester to Blackpool ride is less than 2 weeks away. It wasn't to bad apart from the hilly parts where I was almost ready to get off and walk.
I've got a few more rides planned this week before I go back to work next week.
