A few more eBay payments have come through, so this month's overpayments are:- £1,300.
I think that will be it until the end of the month (when I get paid - I still have some overtime outstanding from my last pay).

Last few weeks have been a nightmare at work.
The level of absence on my department just makes it nigh on impossible to deliver a high standard of work.
It can only get better.
My next holiday is at the end of November (when we hope to get away) and I can't wait.
Today, I went searching for a decent renewal for my car insurance and after 2 hours I've settled for £528, which is cheaper than the £600+ I paid last year (when I didn't have points on my license).
Also went through Quidco for a potential extra £35 off, so not a bad effort overall.0 -
Payday was on Friday and some overtime is still outstanding (approx £300).
I've taken my name off the list for the next 2 Sundays so that I can relax a bit (and until they can get my pay right).
I've been doing interviews this week and I have a couple of new recruits who start working for me on Monday (although they are temporary) which will make a small but noticeable difference to the running of my department. :j
I still have a few more vacancies to fill, which I hope to address over the next fortnight. At least it's a start.
Today I added another £200 to the OPs for October.
October total so far:- £1,500.0 -
Thanks for your posts, I've just shown my DH who is stunned by how much you've raised on eBay. He wants an Air too and now he can't argue that selling stuff to buy one is impossible. I'm hugely impressed by your annual OPs too, they are seriously impressive totals.I'm a qualified accountant but please make sure you get expert advice as any opinion is made in a private capacity.

Thank you.
It's amazing how many things you can get some money for when you list them on eBay.
I got £10 for a 12 year old VHS VCR last week.
Today, an old hair dryer, couple of fleeces, shoes, handbag, wallet, rucksack, some board games, bike lock, car mats, DVD boxsets, crockpot and speaker cable are amongst the 24 items I am listing this evening.
Hoping to generate £250 after fees/postage.
I'm also selling my old Kindle to go towards the cost of the new Kindle Paperwhite I bought this week.
The OPs began to increase more rapidly once I took over all household spending and the OH got onboard (he was a little wasteful with his income until then).
Tracking utilities usage weekly has made a big difference and we always try to use cashback site whenever shop online.
We do have a joint account for household expenditure, but he leaves it to me to manage.
Overtime and bonuses are split 70:30 in favour of OPs.0 -
Overpayments for November are:- £1,300.
It's been a bit hectic at work recently and combined with study too.
I'm also having my medication changed (for my RA), so I feel a bit out of sorts too whilst my body adjusts.
Not to worry, feedback from my first marked assessment was really good and I got a much better mark than I expected,so I will persevere a bit longer.
Things can only improve (I hope).
Thankfully the mortgage continues to shrink which makes me feel a little bit better.
Just over a week ago I spoke the Store Manager about the delay in my overtime (from August) being paid properly and he sorted it out the same day and I was paid in full yesterday. Much appreciated. :T
I've got a few things that need to go on eBay, but with so much else to do recently, they just sit in a corner of the study waiting to be processed.
I'll try to attempt it next week as there is probably £100 sat there (after fees).
The MF-T-T2 challenge draws to a close next month, and to think that I initially planned to reduced the mortgage by £30K.
I can't believe how much we have attacked the mortgage in just 3 years. It has really helped with the OH being onboard over the last 18 months.0 -
Another piece added to the jigsaw puzzle.
Just 2 more to go.0 -

OP Savings have been boosted by the interest of £249 from our maturing FD Regular Savers.
We have already started new ones for the next 12 months.
The Cheshire BS Regular Savers mature at the end of next month and should receive approximately £280 in interest to add to the OPs.

Excellent news...
I've missed your presence on MFW boards but I know you're busy, as always with work and your course.
Hope all is well.
