Out of interest can anyone see any hotels that are alright for the 31st perhapes :S that would make an amazing break. But i don't know what hotels are ok as no idea of London to be honest
THANKS EVERYONE!0 -
Try Laterooms for the Dolphin House Hotel in Pimlico - I can't praise this place enough - look at the reviews on there for pics and info ( and no I'm a newbie not an affiliate!!)
I normally get a room rate of about £89, Although I'm roughing it slightly on my next trip -at the travelodge tower bride £52. Not plush but for one night not what the hec! x
Ah great to hear that someones been there as we are staying there on NY eve, looks great, spa and all...Thx!:T0 -
Consider Travelodge, they are not luxury hotels but are ok, you could probably find some for £29.
Tube would be about £6 a day (check TFL website though)
I regularly go to London and stay in Travelodges, when they're £29 or £19.

It looks like the Dolphin house have rooms on the 31st as well! So that looks highly promising! How far out is it from Tower Bridge etc?0

And 6quid a day is pretty good. For some reason i thought it was 15+ haha. And yeah iv looked at a few travel lodges. Dont seem too bad. They have a bed, which is always good

Im also looking at the 31st - 2nd now. But travel lodge are saying like 115 and 85 each night :S. Can anyone see any nice available hotels on the 31st?
Everywhere seems to be full!
:(:( Which i can see why! haha 0 -
For the tube get one day travelcards rather than individual tickets for each journey. Valid on buses as well
The £6 someone mentioned is about the right price for zones 1/2. Single tickets are £4 a time so definitely worth it0 -
lastminute.com are doing a half price hotel rooms deal today (today only!)
There's only one hotel ; Radisson SAS Portman Square but it is coming up at £63 for the 1st jan and is very handy for Oxford St. & the shops. And its a 4* hotel; I haven't checked any reviews but that seems a good price to me.0 -
look at https://www.goldentours.co.uk for london sight seeing. you can get a SIC (seat in coach) tour for around £60 inc entrances and attractions and a trip on the london eye!!
have a good time.Scrimping and saving!0 -
