I'd be really proud of what you did yesterday Piq, you saved half the teams jobs. Yes some of them are going to go, and that's not good for morale, but not all of them, and all those people and their families are a lot better off because of your efforts.
Sorry you feel so rubbish about things. :grouphug:Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

....yes, the vodka glass is resting on top of the cat on my lap....
This sounded like something out of Dr Seuss - the chocolate, in the hand of the vodka, in the glass, on the cat, on the lap:rotfl:
Poo to evil boss and grr to the toilet man being made redundant and  to half a team having to go - huge hugs to you. Missed this last night whilst [STRIKE]shouting[/STRIKE] communicating with DS over homework etc.
Hope you had your brainwave at 2am -

Perhaps you can only be a boss if you have an IQ in minus figures?? Certainly seems to be the case for you, fay and me, doesn't it?
I am quite sure you are right, halve the numbers and the remainder can do twice the work, the maths work for him. He has actually used the immortal words "the staff who stay on will consider themselves lucky to have a job and will count their blessings" hmmm, doesn't know the staff very well....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

You are kind Dinah, I hadn't thought of it that way, just want to save everyone (including myself, think I am doomed as I am too [STRIKE]mouthy[/STRIKE] articulate). No dates have been set, so each month is an extra mortgage and debt payment for everyone, and hopefully, some will hit the extra year for another two weeks redundancy payments too.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

daily update
I have nothing to report on the work front, other than today I am doing b*gg*r all!
I have decided to risk applying for a 0% card, needless to say, I do not have the necessary paperwork with me! So I may do that tomorrow instead. I thought I'd apply for the Nationwide one as it has no connections to other banks and my mortgage is with them. See what happens, I'm not that bothered about my credit rating, I suspect it's shot to pieces anyway :rotfl:
Paid 62.26 to the card, combined totals of minimum payment differences, which means I'm up to 227.41 over-payments on it this month. I might just get it to sub 2K for the next statement :j
Still on my 10.00 plus store cupboard meals challenge, last night was potato bake, tonight will be sweet potato and mushroom curry.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
