I'm with Lilly81 on this one...if he can't see the funny side of it the day after, then he is a miserable so and so!

    Friday 12 December

A sensible post, in blue to show it's sensible!

Finally got my A&L statement and I've cleared 138.33 during the last month, not bad at all considering I messed up my finances and left my self with nothing for the whole month :o I really want to get rid of this card, however I still owe 2,741.00 on it. Target is to clear it by September 2009.

Received another 3.00 from Pinecone and 1.00 from scratch card just for logging in! plus the obligatory 10p of course!

Also paid 25.12 to A&L, this is the difference in minimum payments since I started stalking the balance on the card. I do this every month. So come what may, I don't pay the minimum payment on it anymore. Once January starts, I will really hit it hard, with selling on ebay and amazon.

As I'm at home I think I'll do a matched bet as well, I've got a little money sitting in those accounts at the moment.

Thank you KT, Miss P, MrsAudus2b. and Lily

Not sure I fancy the Emmerdale connotations :rotfl::rotfl:

Large sack of carrots festooned in mistletoe have been delivered from the local farm shop with the message "carrots for the git, mistletoe for you and I" The farmer was finding it very funny, said he'd never had to deliver romantic carrots before....:o

Hi piq - I think I'd hang a picture of a 'pot of glue' in the stable as a 'covert' warning for your nag to start behaving.

Good luck with the matched betting - I never got the hang of it, myself.

    He'd probably eat it.....

I had to read the matched betting instructions so many times until I got it. Then I was afraid that I'd misunderstood something because it seemed so simple. I still worry that it is so simple, so I must be doing something wrong. But I do have about £50 each of three accounts :j
