whoop whoop whoop on the [STRIKE]knees,,,[/STRIKE] :rotfl:
    I mean PPI

was that a first offer ? does it work like the bank charges were they sent you an offer and then up it sometimes if you say no ? never had PPI so dont know.

Gerroff the knees, they're ticklish.... stick to Fay's!

Yes, it is an offer, rather than the full amount. But I'm happy to accept it, felt a bit naughty claiming it, to be quite honest. The fact that it will help clear the MBNA card is enough for me

I have cleared the greater part of the garden!! It looks tidy if a little bare out there now. A huge pile of weeds and pruned bits is in the middle of the patio, waiting for a shredding... I don't think there'll be many pots of flowers or vegetables this year, the challenge is going to be stopping the weeds!

That's the good bit, the bad bit. I seem to have spent a fair bit of money  The patio door has come in at £200  but it's lovely to be able to see through clear glass again :D I bought new undies £25, really needed - say no more..... and.....I had a night out of drinking, eating and dancing £35:rolleyes: well spent, I think, my legs ached I danced so much!

...must be very economical for the rest of the month...

Piq - Northern Rock tried it on with me on my PI reclaim - I held my ground and have now got the full amount I was entitled to heading my way. Don't feel naughty about reclaiming either - if it was a mis-sold policy then that's their fault and you are fully entitled to the money being returned to you.

Not bad, not good, I am finding riding very painful, even in walk. So I've put the Captain out on a two week holiday with his girlfriends. I was going to ask someone else to ride him for me, but he was so badly behaved about the suggestion (five handstands on the trot!) that I decided to give him a break, before he broke someone  He is very much a one woman horse....

I cleared the lower parts of the garden, can't reach up to the higher parts, but a friend is coming round to help next weekend :T

Other than that, continue exercising it and ignoring it.....

That was brave of you, I just feel a bit of a fraud about it really, I haven't sent off the consent form yet, so I could go for the full amount, but it's not very much more in total.

How long did it take after you refused their offer?

    Update

The statement is in for one of my other credit cards, the princely sum of £158 off it's total, but more importantly this makes the magic 25% of the total credit card amount paid off - yippee

I've managed a nsd, just as well, with the weekend's mad expenditure. I am not going to buy any more groceries until next weekend, perhaps with the exception of milk - evil thought....could take milk home from work, there's always too much here - evil thought over, will borrow milk from work!

Not a lot else to report, I am still filled with wonder at my clear glass patio door....
