update
Hmmm, seem to have done the food shopping on autopilot and without brain engaged  I've managed to forget four essential items and they were on the shopping list....I'm going to have to go back into the supermarket....
This month is going to be tough, I'm going partying on Friday and have had to pay a £10 deposit, obviously it will cost extra on the night too. I haven't been out for ages, getting the debt down is not supposed to mean sacrificing your life, but it does sometimes...
I've also just paid the Captain's insurance, goodbye £440, he won't pay it back either  Definitely only a smaller chunk off the debt figure this month!
...and I managed to lose a couple of pounds of the excess weight last week, hoping I don't find them again next week :rolleyes:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

It costs so much as the insurance is the equivalent of fully comp! Thems with hosses know that veterans are almost impossible to get illness cover for, only injury. Very limited on who actually provides full vet cover for oldies
I do save the £36 a month to be able to pay it in one lump sum.
