Hi all, my apologies for posting in here but i don't want to start a new thread for such a small question.
In this description it says £1.99 postage, but it says it's free, so which is it?! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Shrek-2-USED-PS2_W0QQitemZ160357628801QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_PC_Video_Games_Video_Games_JS?hash=item25560f3b81&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
Confused
It has to be free, seller cannot charge postage in the DVD category. However the seller can also not be forced to sell, which makes it messy as you could win and pay the item cost, get refunded and then have to go through the NPS and neg route.
Personally I report and then avoid sellers like this. By trying to get clever with the rules they effectively ban themselves from ebay anyway.
Alternatively it could be a genuine mistake and you might want to ask seller a question and ask if they were aware they had an old line of text in their auction about postage which they might want to remove so that people are not confused.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks soolin i have emailed them. I didn't know about the no postage rule til today, seems quite daft to me that you can't charge separately for P&P.0
