..Dinah you are so lucky to be so creative...

It's a hinderance a lot of the time, I feel completely strangled in my office job, I dream about being able to something creative instead of having gone for the sensible well paid, under-challenging career choice!

i can relate to that in a way ...i know a very talented artist that is literally struggling to stay doing the thing she loves ...it must be very stifling for the creative people in the sense that in order to make money they have to sacrifice some part of themselves(although that is the same for most people in a way)... i have to admit i think working in an office would kill me aswell... do you do anything creative when not at work? what type of things do you like to do?

I think no 1 would be best for you as you're just starting a business and any insight would be most helpful to you.
You can always take a pottery course some other time in your life or a drug course.
The business one is exactly the right time due to the recession and it will give you a lot of pointers and is so relevant to you now.

Mainly painting, huge fairly modern ones, always of people, but I recently was given a kiln so want to work that out so I can start doing nice mixed media things with kiln fused glass. Also just like generally sewing and drawing and basically fiddling around!

Well it's an NVQ, not sure which level, qualifies you as a pharmacy assistant. Very interesting to learn which meds suit which illnesses and the real difference between painkillers. It's the most enjoyable part of my job :oThe rest is pretty mind numbing retail work
So I'd think the drugs stuff could be really helpful to your work

well its only 10p each today which is nice as well not as nice maybe as £5 but it does all mount up ....had another i cantbearsed day today so didnt go to uni and i'm glad i didnt class is meant to be on for 3 hours but was only 1.5 hours today and all they talked about was how good they think the new course has been and wanted the class to fill an assessment form in stating the same it wouldve cost me £6.60 in train fare and i wouldve been livid ...i will deff be going tomorrow though cause it's my favourite class and i just know they will teach right up to the bell (which i like)

i have to pick an elective for next year now i have a few choices all of which appeal to me for various reasons
    1) how to start a business ...speaks for itself really i'm in the middle of starting one so any help and advice would be appreciated it has an exam in it
    2) quantum physics now this subject has interested me for ages purely as a interest subject but it does also have an exam
    3) introduction to drugs this course will let me find out how various legal (and illegal) drugs affect our bodies what the drug companies want us to believe etc ..now hubbys health aint been great and he has had alot of different meds in his time and i have no doubt will have many more to come so this might be interesting to have this knowledge on hand 60 multiple choice questions which i think i could manage
    4) pottery class i am so left brained it is unreal and i want to do some things that will help me use my right brain more this might help that ....i have noticed i havnt had time to even read a fantasy book since i started and i love reading so the little that i am using of my right brain is starting to stop
there are a few more classes but i am not sure what they are yet ...

so out of those what would you choose?

I would find this very difficult El as all of them interest me.:rotfl: I did A level physics and it is the one subject i could have quite happily continued in, but i liked so many subjects and the arts also interested me..shame they don't do a course for eclectics..i can relate to that:rotfl: :rotfl:

What fantasy book are you reading? Or dare i ask?:rotfl:
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
