    I've been Money Tipped!
    Crawley Girl,

I just remembered when I paid for my groceries today in Tesco, the woman in front asked if I wanted her points, she didn't have a clubcard and had a lot of shopping, trolley load of booze mainly, looked like she was planning for a party. Don't know what the total was but thanks for the points. :-) Did mention to her about getting a card etc and to check out MSE etc but she had no internet etc, didn't seem like she was that fussed with internet etc.

Not spent anything today :T :T :T This no smoking lark is saving me a fortune! I used to buy ciggies every couple of days in bulk but as we are now on day 10 of the new year I am happier, healthier and definately richer! :j :j :j (fed up though as I miss my ciggies lol  )
I've actually only spent about £20 odd so far since last Friday, that's a miracle for me. 2006 is going to be my year for spending less and never, ever smoking again.
I do have to pay a fine of 66p when I go to the library to take my books back. Worst fine I ever had was almost £11 in November of last year. I vow this year to keep fines at the library to a minimum too.

I spent £2.85 on postage - although someone paid me £3 to cover P&P so I'm actually 15p up as the envelope was free from work! :T

  • hello all!

today i will be spending zilch. had my lightbulb moment yesterday when banks bounced 7 direct debits to the tune of £38 each and i have realised this cant go on...so i am planning on having as many non spend days per week as possible!

i think they can only charge for a maximum of 3 bounced DD's in one day. hopefully you will not have to pay all 7.

i haven't opened my purse at all today. got a liftshare to work and not my turn to drive. eating leftovers and store cupboard stuff now though so will need to go shopping tomorrow.

Just £1.30 on 2 x 2 pints of milk, local shop, would be much cheaper at supermarket, but would probably spend more on my way around.
Strangely I've found milk cheaper in my local shop than the supermarket! usually by about 10p for the 4 pint thingys
