Would it not be cheaper to buy a packet of carrots to last you the week? I'm sure you can get a bag for around 35p?? :D

Can you? I just get our office flunky to go out each day and buy me fruit!! He goes to Sainsbury's as it's the nearest supermarket. I'll look into a bag.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Spent £5.44 on groceries at Tesco. Since Saturday spent £21.71, still got £18.29 of £40 grocery budget left. :-)

  • Hi all

Nothing so far but off to Tesco in a mo. Need a copy of the sun to get voucher for £9.50 holiday. Also need milk and bread. Probably a few other things will leap into my trolley on the way round. Maybe a basket would be better but I cannot carry the milk in it!!!! Poor me.

  • I spent 47p on packet of crisps in Boots and used one of my Time Delay vouchers to get a free pack of face wipes! so that wasnt too bad! trying to resist the temptation to call my other half and see if he wants to go out for dinner....

£2.30 on emergency lunch and then 80p on the most densely chocolatey thing I could find from the coffee bar, boy was it worth it ummmmm.
    Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94
    Current debt: £14,000.00
    Debt free date: June 2008
  • Just £1.30 on 2 x 2 pints of milk, local shop, would be much cheaper at supermarket, but would probably spend more on my way around.
