How much did you spend today? 10/01/06

hello all!

today i will be spending zilch. had my lightbulb moment yesterday when banks bounced 7 direct debits to the tune of £38 each and i have realised this cant go on...so i am planning on having as many non spend days per week as possible!

  • I spent £8.19 is Superdrug for Nappies, BOGOF wipes and nappy sacks and 40p on Daily Mail, oh and £1.30 for parking.

Ouch Jamiedodger that is expensive, it's ridiculous what banks charge for failed dd's etc isn't it. Hope you can work it out ok.

    Morning..

I spent £4 this morning. Basically returned an item to primark, however, because I didnt have the receipt (and the item has been reduced since I bought it) I could only exchange items to the value of £6 (whereas I paid £12 for it!!). So I bought a few items, and put an additional £4 to it - but got a top (£3), a bag (£3) and two pairs of undies (£4)... So not bad really, although am gutted I lost half my money through not having the receipt. Grr!!

My credit card statement has come in, £20 on it, so need to pay that off - I only have a CC now to try and repair my credit rating, with an APR of 29.9% there is no way I will be mis-using it (well, I wouldnt anyway!!).

Lunch with me, but need to buy some groceries tonight, so perhaps a fiver spent there....

    xx
  • Will be spending ZILCH today too!!

JD ((((hugs)))) (posted to you on the OS board too). Will the bank not refund any more to you??

Would it not be cheaper to buy a packet of carrots to last you the week? I'm sure you can get a bag for around 35p?? :D
