I've had an MSE obsessed day and I want to make spreadsheets out of everything lol!

Bought my lunch at work today - £2.85 but I'm planning to take my own tomorrow. I am having pasta for my tea and I'm going to see if I can get two lunches out of it too (I have a small appetite lol!)

Put £15 in my car today and I'm going to try my best to get this to last as near as I can to 2 weeks. I figure if I can get my diesel down to at least £10 per week then its less than I had budgeted for. £15 for 2 weeks might be a bit ambitious lol but a girl can try!

Have just been on the phone with all my debtors trying to arrange payment plans or discuss my account etc.

Manage to successfully cancel 1 bank charge (still got to pay one but hey its £35 less than it was!)
Found out you can get the credit cards etc to change your due date apparently - I didn't know this - this really helpful girl at Halifax told me to do it with them all now I'm paid on silly variable dates by my new employer - why they can't just have a regular "pay day" is beyond me.

However on calling Littlewoods when I proclaimed a £50 reduced payment was still too much for me to manage her alternative was to offer me an IVC (?) which meant refinancing £333.77 that I owe them into more finance at 40% interest!!!! I then proceeded to give her a lecture that I felt this was an irresponsible resolution to financial crisis and subsequently I've had to stick with the £50 reduced payments - I'll just have to find the money somewhere! I even asked the girl how she thought giving somebody in financial crisis yet more credit with an extortionate APR rate was helpful. Funnily enough she had no answer for this lol!

Oh well onward and upward. I might have to make minimum payments for a little while but hopefully soon I can begin blasting the debt down!

well guys am having I great week so far. took my own lunch yesterday, dint have to buy lunch day and its been a no spend day too! also off to earn some extra cash tonight!

If you help me stay positive i will help you! i'm determined to get my debt as low as possible in 2009 and started my diary and really checking in Nov. I'm with the NSD challenge and its really helping me i have a chocoalte habit and thinking about it at 50p a bar here at work its been costing me at least £5 a week!! *LOL* i get a sugar low about 4pm (struggling thru it as i type) and the vendor calls but i have my NSD mantra *LOL*

I know what you mean about getting those sugar lulls in the afternoon! I'm terrible for it.

Well got to the end of the day without spending anything and I made £40 profit in my fitness class for an hour's work (and it was a fun hour too) you can't beat it! Takes my £10 in December total to £206!!!!!

Well have been off work for the past 2 days, had to cancel two classes which means I've had to kiss goodbye to £35 - bit disappointed with that but there isn't anything I could do about it.

On the upside I haven't spent anything.
