Taxis Final Push!!!!

Hello,

Just found this thread by accident searching for something else in Blackpool. I live in Blackpool and I can tell you that it is no where near as bad as that show made out. It made out that he was unable to sleep because he was so scared of what might happen to him.

There are rough areas, but as mum2one says they focus on the bad areas whereever they go. I was really disappointed to see the impression the show gave out about Blackpool - in that its inhabited solely by drug addicts, or recovering drug addicts. There are bad areas, but there are a lot of lovely areas too. The council has plans to regenerate a lot of the really bad areas so hopefully the future will be a bit brighter!

i had thought as much Gemsy, my cousin has a guest house in Blackpool so i didn't think it could really be an accurate reflection.

Hi all...yes I hear that they only showed the really rough areas for effect....That's what TV is about nowadays I guess ..everything done for effect.
ISOM..my diet is well and truly out of the window for at least the next few days but I will get back into it as I was doing well.
Penguin...things are going fine on the cabs at the minute not as good as they should be for this time of year but am keeping my head above water...hoping to hit £29k soon ...am aiming to pay the A+L card off in full this time.

Taxi - I just cant believe how well uve done, never mind under 30k, ur soon be flying to 20k.
Hope work picks up 4 u, fingers crossed should soon know our local schools break up fri for Easter x

Morning all...day off today and think I will spend most of it just pottering aboutWe'll be having a nice roast beef dinner tonight as picked up a joint half price last week so looking forward to that.Apart from that not a lot else happening so far.
