Lucielle the window will be ready tomorrow and fitted after 2pm so that's all sorted(it's a replacement for the broken one).
I agree EL..typical about it not picking your accident up...hope you're recovering from it.
ISOM..nice to see you withdraw from scratchies....DGS was a little angel but he isn't well..he's got a terrible cough and cold.

I overheard a conversation in Sainsburys a couple of weeks ago.

A taxi driver and his mate were chatting, the friend must have been asking about starting cabbing and the taxi driver said that was little money in it as **** (your firm) had undercut the prices and even if a punter got a cab somewhere, if they happened to get one of yours for the journey home, they would notice the fare difference and so next time, would ring your firm.

So, it has been noticed. I know what you mean about the free bus passes, especially for visitors. Whereas before 4 pensioners would get a taxi from North Shore to town, now they wait for a bus.

Another min payment out of the bank today so another £25 gone forever.,
Went shopping today and bought some specials at the butchers 4lbs braising steak..£9.99...4lbs steak mince £9.99 ...4lbs stewing steak £9.99....portioned those up into meal sizes...and put in freezer.
Also went to Asda and bought 3 chickens,3 packs of premium sausages(reduced) a large joint of pork...plus loads of other stuff so should be alright for a good few weeks now....
So now I can concentrate on building up the money in the bank to make overpayments.

You got some really good baragins there, Mr Taxi wont want to go to work with all that food xx

Hi Whatatwit..that's great to hear about the conversation...Mind you just phoned DH and he said it's really quiet tonight.How's your business?...are you quiet?
The chinese that DD was taking us to next tuesday for my birthday has just phoned my DD to cancel the booking...said they aren't open until the following week..don't know why.
DD has booked us into the Gurkha instead now...so at least shes rescued it.She's phoning everyone up to let them know.Can't believe that they didn't let her know until today though.

what bargains you got, managed to get two of their cooked chickens reduced today which i have striped and are ready to freeze or become edible feasts for tomorrow.

It's steady at work, not breaking any records but keeping going.
Where were you going? We tried to go to one on Bond St, the other night, but it was shut.

Funny enough a few yards from your business....DD went there for their works christmas do and enjoyed the chinese banquet...
