Taxis Final Push!!!!

Gosh another one booking a holiday. All sounds good and definately something to aim for.

Really excited as I know exactly what we'll get there and the hotel is having a full refurb from May --oct this year.Just seen Hypnos diary and she's going away...good for her and the kids.We all have to have something to look forward to.

Itisn't the place we went to in Cuba in May...it's the one we went on nearly 5 years ago and nowhere has matched up to it since.It has the whitest softest sand I've ever seen and the most beautiful pale blue ocean ever.The staff were the greatest and the cocktails are to die for...he does proper Tom cruise stuff as he was the 2nd in the whole carribean in a cocktail competition....we were spoilt on that holiday.
Some of the staff play chess with DH awhilst I got on with sunbathing....the trips are fantastic as well.
We will go on the catamaran cruise with lobster,as much drink as you want ,2 snorkelling stops and a stop at a beach with a proper party on board ,singing and dancing.
We will go on a speedboat trip through the mangroves(james bond style)....you drive it yoursef and can snorkel as well.
DH can go deep sea fishing and fishing on the lagoon.
I may go on a horseride..if I'm brave.
We will do archery and rifle shooting and see how many certificates we can win.
Play pool games ..maybe..won a few of them last time..lol....
Sunbathing,swim in the pool etc etc..
Can you tell I'm excited...lol

Seaxwyn, you just KNOW that taxi will be first one to the finish line.....notice that I haven't done a "race to £35k" challenge this year - no point, unless you and I want to battle for the wooden spoon :rotfl:

AAARGH I AM SO JEALOUS!!!! No chance of a holiday for me this year - well we are wondering about going to visit OH's brother, who lives in France, but I can't see how we'll afford it.

And the only race I'm likely to win is the race back to 40k. I am going backwards.

Great news on yours Hypno....my holidays are what motivates me.
You will beat me to £30k as I don't think that I will pay that off for one minute.I will be very happy to pay both CCs off before they are out of their 0% period.I would like to save enough to pay one of the loans off but may not manage it.
The most important thing is for me to put my tax away every week.
Folllowed by killing the CCs.
Followed by paying one of the loans off..no major saving there except no loan payment to pay.
The ultimate goal is to have everything including mortgage paid off.
I cannot get totally motivated unless I have a holiday as that's the only time I go out really...IYSWIM.

I posted there as you were Seaxwyn.Everything will turn around for you soon I'm sure.You aren't going backwards really...those tax payments are taking a large chunk of your money.You had such a hard year last year wondering about lots of things and sometimes that can hold us back a little.You have such earning potential maybe that trip will be affordable.
Maybe work out what it would cost and see if doing an extra piece of work would cover it and it may give you motivation.I have to sort money and outgoings into different chunks for things to work for me.

That's why I booked it again as have been disappointed with other holidays and just wanted to go and know what to expect.
