I wont say sorry simple as that and I will lose my job if need be as I do have another job starting mid january but they are not aware of this.
Even without the other job to fall back on I still would not say sorry.
So why are you wasting our time asking for our opinions and help? You are in the wrong. If you cannot accept this then I suggest you consider your career as management is clearly not the right path for you.
ETA: I posted the above before I had read the thread completely. Now I have the OP's comments re leaving without notice I have nothing but contempt for him/her. The OP's employer's may have treated him/her badly, but that is no excuse for going down to their level.0 -
Viktory, maybe in your eyes and other posters eyes I am in the wrong in this instance. If I went into the full details of everything during my whole time there you might think different, in fact Im certain you would. I would be here for hours explaining all the instances which have constantly being faced with were I have been restricted by senior managment.
This particular instance was the last straw for me. I have submitted and allowed them to do it far to often in the past and I cant take anymore. Its my decision and I will not be thier puppet any longer.
I am a very capable at what I do and even have a more senior role in my new job with a boss who I have already worked for but how the hell can anyone manage/supervise staff when higher ranking managment will not allow it. Have you tried?
I came here looking for help to be honest but like Pinzi says, most are very eager to post very negetive comments. Im already feeling bad over whats happened and how Ive been treated at work so really the last I need is your swipes at me and my work capability. So basically if you can not offer me anything positive dont reply on my thread because so far your comments are those of a bitter old oxygen thief.
Thank you0 -
Brix, don't be disheartened by holier than thou posters and miseries who have posted negative comments. I am with you all the way, because it is quite clearly bullying at its best. I don't blame you for swearing, I'd have been the same, they are seeing how far they can push you, they are goading you, and I wouldn't be suprised if they see you as a threat to their cosy little clique.........the woman who you are told not to over ride or similar, is obviously being sh@ggd by one of them as well., that or the bosses daughter, Stands out a mile....
I have worked in (food) factories, and other productions, there's a certain type of mentality who thrive in this environment, like a witch hunt at times, and usually of low morals and low intelligence PRESENT COMPANY EXCEPTED!!!! like you say about PUPPETS you are so right!!
Good for you, that you have a new job, drop them in it, oh and grab some headed company headed notepaper and make yourself a glowing reference if ever you need it...Good luck in your new job, AND DO NOT APOLOGISE you have nothing to apologise for despite what some martyrs and puppets are telling you...looks like me and pinzy are the only 2 supporting you...
I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST .... oh and what i did for my parting shot, in a factory department (admin) in a similar situation, was to draw a strong magnet across the computer screens, of all who'd been nasty, and across their hard discs, then gather up all of their in and out trays and let it go, on a windy day, allover a busy main road..and it felt good.....:rotfl:0 -
Thank you Hamaradam for your support. Seems like you can really relate well to my experience.
I have to much pride to say sorry after all whats gone on but I will admit that I am really at the end of my tether with it all and yes I may have been wrong in the swearing instance but if I did/do I would just make my job harder and more stressful in the future with them.
Everthing happens for a reason and my new job in January is in a place overseas Ive always dreamed of settling after spending lots of time there with work and holidays, just maybe this could be a door opening leading to my reward. I certaining see it as that.
So, on a final note to all the negative posters, maybe in the future I will post again with my tales of work in paradise with a firm who value its staff whilst the posters who drag me down are still here offering their negative advise to posters in need.
Thanks to Pinzi and all others with good vibes too.
Thats all:beer:0 -

lets be honest here you never came here looking for help or advice you want people to tell you how terrible and unfair you had been treated.
You have a new job to start in Jan with a wonderful new boss whom you have worked for before.
I'm curious about something this new boss was it 15 years ago you worked for him? you said you had been in your current position for 15 years right? I just hope he hasn't changed from being a great boss over those 15 years.
enjoy your new position abroad, hopefully in a country that doesn't worry too much about commitment reliability or confidentiality.0 -

I have to agree, whatever the other issues, your brief was to help the order guy see where he was going wrong. it was not to disclose the dossier that the management had on him to ensure that they could,if things did not improve, terminate his contract after the probation period. That would happen in most jobs, you do something wrong persistently, within the prescribed time and it is noted, any normal person would expect this,it is accepted practice.
When challenged on this you compounded your offence by using bad language to senior management. Another example of bad judgement on your part. Tbh I would imagine that you are a nightmare employee, always right and always ready to undermine the efficient running of the plant.
I am not at all clear why you posted, nor why you felt the need to use emotive language in your OP. You are clearly not in despair, rather you consider yourself superior, and are congratulating yopurself on the faact that you are getting out. In reality, I suspect you will be no great loss to your former employer. Who needs the hassle?0 -
I just can't believe the negative posters!! Brix has been BULLIED in the workplace. Obviously the negative posters are bullies themselves or have a feeble acceptance of being bullied.or are nodding dogs. Just because jobs are scarce does not mean one has to accept being bullied like this...absolutely NOT.
Some of these negative posters are winding you up...0 -
There is a huge and significant difference between being bullied, and and not following the brief you were given, and then complaining about being pulled up about it,then compounding that by swearing. Nobody is advocating being a nodding dog,but you do have to play the game.0
