    I do wish i had a bit of your energy Hypno, but i have been quite busy today with general running around..not in your league of course, but i am building up.

    Happy New Year !

    I have warned DS that him and I will be starting walking as of tomorrow as he is a computer geek and gets no exercise other than at school and he is getting on the chubby side. I am way over the chubby side so I have told him I need to do it and will be lonely on my own so he offered to join me :rotfl: . How sweet. Maybe next year I will break into a jog. :o doubt it though. xx

    Aww, MIT, thats nice. And Hypno, your day sounds wonderful, how lovely for you to have a family day and do that sort of thing. I'm not going to be running at all - I had some time on the patio sweeping and clearing, then a 20 minute walk around the block, and my shingles pain came back with the cold, so one or the other, and to get aerobically fit, I'll use my cross trainer, safe in my second bedroom.

    Thanks guys - it has been a nice relaxed day - even taking into account the mad dash around the freezing cold Norfolk countryside this morning with 400 other people!

    Now doing reviews on dooyoo - there seem to be a load of newbies posting on there today too........obviously another new years resolution for many!
