My dad always worked away too, first in the RAF then in the Middle East, so it is sort of Normal for me I suppose! I could never live in anyone's pockets! We have been married over 18 years so it isn't doing us any harm, obviously!

doodledo, good luck with the last wrapping up - I think I will do mine this evening when strictly is on.

Did you read the A&L thing as getting cashback even if you are an existing customer? I applied for a esaver recently and it came back at zero payout even though it seemed to have tracked ok. I already have a current account with them so thought maybe they'd decided they only paid to new customers - have queried anyway and even if I don't get the money it still makes life simpler!

skint_spice, it does say that it will track at 0 for 2-3 months before tracking at the proper amount so don't give up hope! Again, on the principle that I haven't spent anything, there is nothing to lose by trying!

Did go for a run (as you will see from P's post!) It was nice to get out and clear my head a bit from the fuzziness of the last couple of weeks!

Good to see you've blown the cobwebs away with your run.What a brave woman going shopping.If I need anything I'm going in tesco express or whatever until after christmas.Those shoppers are mad!!!!!
Still got my wrapping to do as well and writing of cards(they don't need posting though) so that's ok .

I am leaving the supermarket shopping as late as possible in the hope that the Christmas shoppers have gone home!

Still not done any housework - just having a post-run slice of toast and a cup of coffee, then will have a shower, and might then think about doing something else.......but only might!

I didn't worry too much at first because it said that but it was due to arrive this month and did - at £0.00 received! fingers crossed it might still come...
