Don't like the kitchen, cornice would not exactly stay clean, could cope with conservatory & garden though

Morning. Everyone here is tired - I think it is classic "end of term/end of year" lethargy - we all need a bit of a break and the ability to have a lay in......only a week to go and then we can do that..:D
Scratchcards done today - another double day :j 50p was my best today so not complaining at that. It all adds up!
Today I am going to aim for a NSD - I am still going to the bank too much to take off a tenner which then seems to disappear, so I am going to really focus on that in the new year. The budget is so finely balanced that we can't afford to waste ANY money, so this has to be addressed otherwise our overpayment capacity will be vastly reduced and, of course, we run the risk of bank charges if there is no extra money coming in from MSE stuff etc. As we have had no charges since July, this is obviously a war we are starting to win, so I want to keep that up!
I also want to do a bit of an "audit" either today or tomorrow - going through all the finances just to check that we are on top of things as much as we think we are......although I think that a magazine subscription that I took out for quidco has crept in there - this is the sort of thing I need to keep a closer eye on really.
