Anyway, the "alternative" tree looks absolutely fine, so I can't be bothered to put the big one up now.....things will stay as they are. Although I have put the adaptor with the other tree so I don't lose it again :o

Unless you lose the whole tree  (if you do, check under the ironing pile ;))
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Now you say that...

My mum and dad have a small 3 bed house and have LOST theirs!

There's two places it could be, under the stairs and in the loft and both places have nothing... NOTHING!!! I was even accused of stealing it when they went on a cruise last year! :rotfl:

Anywho, seems like people have been crashing and getting meh and lost in their individual quests this week. It seems likely as I've actually have quite a lot of fun and a very comparative MSE week! :j Well, comparative when considering the location and what I was doing...

Tuesday: Stamford Bridge, Chelsea Champions League match... I got a free ticket in one of their hospitality areas... 3 Course buffet dinner, grat view of the pitch, Chelsea won and then back into the area again for a warming cup of tea and a couple of cakes whilst waiting for the queues at the train station to shrink! I realised that this would be fantastic if I had the money! :rotfl: Cost me £11 in total for 2 pints of beer, so not bad! Apart from the price of beer, but in the grand scheme of things where I had 3 courses, free programme, free football then free cake!

Wednesday: One of my recruitment agencies invites me to their temps party as a client! Fab fun, got to meet lots of consultants who normally wouldn't even meet me with the CV I have (jumpy contracts, public sector background when these guys are big honchos in Financial Services recruitment!) lovely guys and might've got me in enough to sell me in! :T Free drink in nice company, it was great! So basically it cost me £2 in train fare!

Friday: Christmas Do for the NHS. I wasn't drinking with nurses so the drinks flowed! :D Yeah, my glass was never ACTUALLY empty... I spent £50 all night. So God knows how I got so drunk. The food was lovely and the wine slipped down a bit too easy... But I ended up with wine on my shoes and a bit of a fuzzy couple of hours where I can't remember everything, except for all the gossip that didn't involve me! :rotfl:

Saturday: Another late night as me and the OH went to our friend's new house in Hersham which is a long long way away! And it was great! Watched X-Factor and loved the whole Alexandra crying thing. It shows she wanted it that badly! Not to mention singing with Mariah Carey and BEYONCE in 10 weeks! Pretty good going! :T
Now I have a cold as I had to do some OUTDOORS Christmas shopping! I swear, online shopping this year has saved me over 30 quid on 4 people! Loving it!

I hope everyone is well, I had a quick glance through this one to catch up and it seems a wobbly start to the week that ended relatively well, so judos to all!

Anyway, back to bed for me so I can get rid of a cold before it starts so I don't need to feel like death when I go to work tomorrow!

    Laters all!
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!
  • hey this seems like the place to be !!

So much for my "in bed by 9pm " quest.

Rtandon - have a good week, yourself!

scratchcards done - one gave me 50p, that was the best I got. Might reach payout on one this week, hopefully.

Other than that, nothing to report so far!

I just hope I can stay as determined and focused as you on my becoming debt free quest. A few people have mentioned 'scratchcards' but have no idea what/where they are. can you point me in the right direction?
