Hi CAFCgirl and Taxi :santa2: I am glad I have made a good start - still a fair way to go before the house can be described as tidy! But it is certainly a lot better than it was at the start of the day, and that on its own makes me feel a lot better!

And as for Robbie - there are worse things to be doing your ironing to

Roast chicken about to be cooked for dinner - DS has made a start - he's not bad for a 13 year old boy! I think he worries that if he doesn't cook, his mother might not bother, or might not remember to cook, and he would starve as a result :o I see it as teaching him valuable life skills :D

If I ever ever get on top of my housework, I might consider a trip to Scotland.

But as, in 20 years of having my own place, never EVER been on top of it all.........

Very productive day in the Hypno house :D
    So far today I've.......
    • made cereal for breakfast.
    • emptied and loaded dishwasher and emptied.
    • been to the cinema to see Nightmare before Christmas (free tickets)
    • made sandwiches for Mr Twit's lunch.
    • been out for xmas lunch with mum and Miss Twit.
    • brought home xmas lunch for Mr Twit.
    • called at work and brought home recycling.
It's not really much, think I'll check what's on TV and maybe tackle 10 items of smoothing.

Oh, forgot, I reached payout on my other scratchcard and have received an email confirming it's on its way :D

That sounds like a reasonable amount whatatwit! I have only really scratched the surface - I need to do the same amount every day between now and approx the end of March, I reckon :p

I know what you mean beanie - I found the adapter for the Christmas tree lights.........eventually........on the stairs :rotfl: Obvious really!!

Anyway, the "alternative" tree looks absolutely fine, so I can't be bothered to put the big one up now.....things will stay as they are. Although I have put the adaptor with the other tree so I don't lose it again :o
