I don't know about toned, kc, but definitely happy!

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone - but I still have 3 days to get through at work, and I have sooo much to do before I go! Ah well, it will be worth it.

Hope you all have a good day x

Morning - DD has just gone off to Revision classes for her A2's. DS is still asleep - knee is hurting him a bit so unsure whether he really will be fit enough to go to Gibraltar swim camp.

Chickens are laying everyday now ....... fresh eggs are wonderful!

Have a list of things to do but feeling slighty light headed this morning and really want to go back to sleep.

Heres to a good day for everyone!

Hypno - counting down to your hols, it will be so good for you to get away and just chill out (no pun intended, but it's not a bad one all the same!)

Shaun - thanks for words of techie wisdom, will mooch around techie site as advised. detention sounds tough at your lad's school, but at 16 he has to learn that in the grown-up world you have time deadlines to meet and there are rules to be obeyed in the workplace so you could say school is his training ground. If the school did not correct him now he would get a nasty shock on starting work!

Surfbabe - you have chickens? We have an Eglu on order, to be delivered next week, then we will be sourcing a couple of feathered ladies to live in it and hopefully provide eggs and entertainment. Can't wait!

Not likely......there is internet access in the sports centre opposite.....I still need to do online banking and daily scratchcards, so will be sure to pop on and say helloo!

surfbabe, glad to hear the eggs are plentiful - I did look into an eglu, but I think I have enough going on at the moment without it, sadly. DD would love to keep chickens. Sorry about DS knee though.

Nargle, yes great pun, whether intended or not!!

Hypno, get a life, woman! Don't you dare go anywhere near a computer while you are away, this is supposed to be your holiday. It can all wait till you get back. First rule of business - always have 3 in-trays on your desk.
An IN tray, an OUT tray, and an IF LEFT WILL SORT ITSELF OUT tray. Most things in life, I find, do perfectly well in that third tray! Oh, and I forgot the 4th tray which is the round one that sits under your desk!

    happy hols anyway.

But I need to check online banking every day - if left to its own devices, I will find bank charges galore on my return......things are that precariously balanced, and having got on top of them, I am NOT letting them slip again!

We don't have internet access in the apartment, though, so I won't be on much.....just the absolute minimum!

For anyone interested.....click here to see where I am going.....wooooooooo!!!

Ok you're forgiven. I'd forgotten what a sneaky bunch of bankers there are in this country!! (Spelling error there perhaps?) But no online blogging, shopping, betting or anything else - it will get in the way of some good skiing.

And as if to prove a point.......

Just gone on to credit expert......Barclays, after making an error on my file, sending me flowers, etc etc etc, have slapped a late payment on my credit file instead of paying off my loan........

    DUR!!!!!

So....one carefully worded letter is currently sat on my desk waiting for me to deliver it to the branch downstairs.........

Just think what sort of a muddle I would be in if I did not check things!
