Hello Hypno and co, nice to be back online again. Did anyone keep their resolutions to have a clear out at the weekend while the forum was closed? I must admit to being slothful at present - am on annual leave till after Easter. Fully intend to get stuck into things domestic and horticultural - tomorrow, if the weather permits. The house computer is on its last legs but my father has kindly offered to buy a new one for us - I feel a bit guilty accepting it but, as he says, it will all come to me when he's gone so I might as well have some of it now. The computer has saved us loads of money over the years with bargains on the net e.g. full set of lined curtains with matching pelmet for less than £3 on ebay. Plus the online internet shopping saving time & cash at the supermarket. Plus buying birthday presents for people through Topcashback....getting to be quite a sassy shopper, me!One life - your life - live it!0

Howdy all! :j
It seems everyone had a housework weekend! I also did. Gravel garden and grass so not make a happy couple! So I spent THREE HOURS (with a housemate who might've helped ) Pulling it all out!
Then I played on the Wii Fit, then collapsed with a migraine!
I'm currently having the all day migraine jobbies at the mo so it's been great trying to handle work whilst also waiting for the painkillers to kick in...
Hope everyone is well! Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -

Walshy, sorry to read about the migraine - hope they disappear very soon.
Nargleblast - I did some housework.....not as much as intended, but the house downstairs is tidy enough for DD not to be embarrassed about bringing friends home in the holidays, so that is good enough for now!
I went to get my euros today, so holiday feels very close, thankfully! I soooo need to have a break! And of course the good thing is that I have not increased my borrowing in any way to go.....always a good feeling!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
