I have had to go and buy.........a new iron

It pains me to do so, it really does! I did try and buy a self propelled remote control one......but for some strange reason no-one seemed to stock one like that, so I have had to get one that I **shock** pick up myself

I also had to buy a kettle. That was ok - kettles are my friend.

Then, because of all the yin and yang stuff going on (well, irons and kettles, anyway), I needed to buy cake to ensure complete harmony was restored.....

Howdy all! I'm one month away from getting a new job! :j

    Here's the reasoning behind it...

New Tax year starts this week! :D Therefore jobs are needed, people sign them off, I get one of them! :rotfl:

It's almost foolproof! I've had a busy weekend doing family weddings and the like so thanks for all the messages! Something will come along...

I've been reading your diary for almost a year now Hypno and whilst my debt would've been gone in a month with your DFW prowess, mine is slow but steady! But just in case, I'm bumping it up a notch now to ensure maximum paying offage! :j

Right after I use Dooyoo to pay for my holiday, I'm going to be pushing my luck for the next month to see if I can get three payouts in that space of time. If they say I'm spamming then I'll stop for a bit and calm down the uploads but I need £250 ASAP and forgot how close summer was!

And if I can do that then I'll go and hit up the payouts to decrease that overdraft of mine before Barclays find out! :o
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!

Good luck with the jobsearch/dooyoo stuff Walshy - you can do anything if you put your mind to it :T

I've just got back from my run - it was nice to go out in the daylight (ish) so although I am still upset that an hour of my scarce sleep was stolen from me over the weekend, it was nice to run around the lanes rather than having to drive into the city to get the benefit of the streetlights.

Wet celery and flying helmet :rotfl: Don't forget the knockwurst sausage:rotfl:

    Good luck Walshyboy :j.

Hope tidying going well Hypno, am about to add to chaos by posting some ink cartridges :D.

Hmmm, wardens hats, rubber mats & ink cartridges ..... must be a specialist website for that :rotfl:

The tidying is going quite well - the lounge is nice, and the hall has also stayed tidy.......just the rest of the house to go!!

just about any ink cartridges except the epsom ones.......!

I have had one of my free bets credited from the weekends attempts to re-start MB'ing.....just need to find a suitable bet for it now  Quidco of £25 has also tracked too which is a good sign.

Ye Gods it has been painfully slow getting connected tonight -I wouldn't say my computer is old but I had to kick the little man to get him to shovel some more coal on the fire...

Less than 4 weeks to Marathon day Hypno, the heat is now on....

Good news for me and OH today - our IVA proposal was accepted by our creditors so we are feeling much relieved. At least it means we can clear our debts (most of them anyway) in 5 - 6 years instead of double that time if we'd stayed on DMPs. It means I shall be haunting the Old Style board even more than usual to make sure we stay within budget. We have decided to get a couple of chickens during the next few weeks - both as pets and for the eggs and the free fertiliser. Their names have already been chosen - the Cluckle Sisters, Pauline and Barietta. I will also be into things horticultural - planting veggies in the garden. Oh, yes - Nargle's on the case and means business!
