Ooh I forgot about Earth hour so have started it a bit late - do you think anyone will mind?!

just been for a walk down to chip oil,tu get a bag of scratching,starts chirping on about health and safety regs,, cant do em any more cus their bad for you!!!

she stole two bits of coal so we could have a real fire,,,hadn't the heart to tell her young un was still stuck up chimney,sent him up this morning to collect soot for garden!!but ive no doubt smoke will make him come down quick enough,,,

Morning hypno et al, Happy British Summer Time!

Congratulations all good people who switched lights off for Earth Hour - now if only we could get the message over to places like India and China with all their coal-fired power stations (I heard somewhere burning coal does more harm to the environment than car exhaust fumes.)

Shaun - I suppose your OH got up 2 hours before going to bed and walked 20 miles to do a 72 hour shift today? Then returned to t' ole in t' road for bread and dripping - with no bread and no dripping? Eeeh they was 'appy days!

Good news for moi - got 3 numbers in a line on the lottery so that's a tenner for the kitty! Either the sun shines on the righteous or the devil looks after his own. Happy Sunday people!

P, well done on the run - I am aiming to get out later today, but have loooads to do today so we will just have to see how things pan out. My legs ache a bit too after yesterday's effort - so might be better to go out tomorrow evening instead.....see, I am making excuses. But am bloomin tired, and have to get to Tesco, and do a squillion other things anyway, and I am sure no one else is going to do them for me!

I have been good - have done a meal plan for the week in conjunction with my shopping list - hopefully as a result I can keep the bill in Tescos down.......I shall report back later.......
