rummaging under bushes, to find discarded Corona bottles that you could take back to the shop for the deposit back....
penny sweets weren't even that - they were 3 for a penny!
Loving the amended list Nargleblast - much much more realistic.
I have done my run - only 5.5 miles, but in the most foul weather possible, so I am sure it was the equivalent of 10 miles

MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
So, aims for the weekend:
- do 3 dooyoo reviews
- [STRIKE]go for a run[/STRIKE] done - just 5.5 miles, but it will have to do for the time being
- tidy my lounge to within an inch of its life
- brainstorm money stuff
- sort through filing cabinet
- re-read the matched betting stuff
hmmm.....half way through Saturday, and not much achieved!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
One step forward, two steps back here
When the going gets tough......
I'm going shopping with my Christmas vouchers.
And I've just been to the Post Office to collect my Mothering Sunday card (£1.06  for a 6p short paid   + one week to get here   ) and it has a £10 Next card in it :j :j
DS1 is forgiven0 -
I took the £10 boots voucher I found when I was clearing out, and bought some perfume yesterday......it didn't cover the entire cost, but it went a good way towards it, so I thought it was justified.......far better than using it for toothpaste, sanitary towels and foot cream........
So, happy shopping OO :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I expect you smell nice now too...happy days.

OK......so I have finally dipped my toe back in the matched betting water.......
I have not only read through the guff again, but I have placed my qualifier......Hopefully it will kick start my moneymaking enthusiasm.
As I was running today, I was thinking about MSE "stuff", as you do. I was a bit bothered by the fact that I have lost interest in surveys, mystery shopping etc. Then I realised that I have been mystery shopping and doing lightspeed etc since 2002!!! So, after 7 years of it, I am bound to be a bit bored! 7-year-itch type thing I reckon!
So I don't feel guilty that I am not getting excited over mystery shops or lightspeed surveys at the mo. But it does mean I need to get my act together elsewhere otherwise how is the money going to come in to clear the debt.......Hence the matched betting again - hopefully I can get myself back on track!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. And what's more, I had my shower at the ski club, thereby keeping my own water bill down......very MSE :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
