Hello, not been around for a while. Lost the plot abit after being ill the week before. Trying to get back on track. Had my ASDA delivery today, £156.09 But I am hoping that it will last for most of the month. Need to re do the menu plans now. Been a bit lapse this last month and threw out too much food that had gone off.....:o Not very MSE at all.
Quidco paid me a measly 0.57p! Have had to put in an enquiry as to why the £75 validated in October still has not been paid to me! :mad:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Thanks Beanie! Hi Mooloo - sorry you've been ill, its one thing after another, isn't it ... especially at this time of year. I spent a couple of hours outside today (shifting bricks
yes, really!) and now my allergic rhinitis is playing up. Ah well. Hope that grocery order does you for a good long time.
Hypno, let us know the full list of cake flavours, okay? :rotfl::A2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I didn't get chance to go for a second bit of cake....more's the pity.
I am home now, but am so so tired. Today has certainly been one of the most trying of recent times.
Spag bol is cooking, and I can't see me getting out for a run....just too weary. Tomorrow is another day.
Hope you are all well......mooloo, quidco get there eventually, and it is worth waiting for.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Honey, you sound so tired at the mo. And the job is sounding very tough. Have a lovely spag bol.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Weary, I think, is an appropriate word......even my boss said "you must be shattered" (didn't stop him keeping me late at work though.......!)
But I don't suppose anyone in my line of work is finding it easy, so it is not just me! Things will change, eventually.
We are more concerned about OH not being able to do 2 jobs when the EU working time directive is in operation - only being able to work 48 hours a week will be a real problem for him......and we really do rely on that extra income to make ends meet. So, even more need to get the work in while we can, and pay off what we can as soon as poss before working hours are restricted.

I think you'll find he can sign an 'opt out' clause. We have everyone sign them at work. It actually means you can't be MADE to work more than 48 hours but you can if you choose to. Have a look here

Hope this helps0
