Mooloo - like hypno said quidco usually get there eventually! I got a £25 payout on something from 2006 this week - I never expected to get it!!

When does the EU directive change Hypno...hope you've got a while before it does.

Is anyone else confused about who these drops in interest rates actually help? As with lots of people, our variable rate mortgage doesn't pass most of the cuts on anymore, people with savings get less (I know that doesn't effect me)...I really hope so of you in Hypno land are seeing a bit more for your money! Ok, that was my serious discussion for the year...normal duties to be resumed! xx

Thanks, DFF, OH does currently opt-out, but it was on our local news about it being strict 48hours only....I can't find though when they are thinking of it being non-opt-outable....my understanding was that the EU had agreed that us hard working brits could continue to opt out for the foreseeable future.....

If things continue as they are, ie he can opt out, then that is absolutely fine!

I also thought that you couldn't opt out as otherwise it wasn't a change of rule as before the change you could opt out IYSWM.
I hope that you can opt out though as loads of people have to work more than 48 hours per week to survive.

It is all too confusing for me when my brain is this tired......I will have another look at it tomorrow!

But, perhaps like the high APRs, it will just spur us on to get the debt down quicker.....so that we can manage on less money sooner.......but for many, two jobs is increasingly necessary.

just another hurdle........and one that we will have to deal with when we get to it.
