One of the most annoying things about persistant calls from creditors is when you painstakingly and politely outline your situation and current state of affairs, and the caller says they can see this from their records. In that case why the **@!!*** do they keep ringing you only for you to tell them what they know already? I also hate it when the calls are from some foreign-sounding person from a call centre in some exotic location, and you have to listen really hard to fathom out what they are saying. I know it is not the fault of the caller, they are just paid employees, but it is very tiresome.
I used to work in a bank in a previous life ( yes, ironic that I should now be in debt) and I don't ever recall my bosses ever sending really nasty letters, or any staff members hassling customers on the phone. Of course, that was in the days before banks stopped being a service industry and moved into aggressive marketing and selling. Perhaps I should appear on Grumpy Old Women.

What gets me is when they ring but they DON'T have the details of my case/complaint/account/circumstance on the screen......so they can't understand why I am so bloody narked as they try and take me "through security". If they actually read the notes BEFORE they rang me, they would see that I had only spoken to someone 3 mins earlier.........

Well it's nice to have a chunter now and then and put the world to rights. I sometimes feel though that Victor Meldrew is my role model. And on that happy note it's goodnight from me and sleep well all of you.

I think they really do have all the info in front of them, they are just doing it to wind you up. Either that or they are as thick as 2 short planks - the lights are on, the radio is playing, there's a dog barking, bacon and eggs frying --- but there ain't nobody at home.

Spring certainly seems to be taking a break today and letting winter back in..

Good luck with the photographer - hope the little darlings make the "right" faces!

    G'day all,

Just wanted to let you know that I got that job :j hours to suit me and pretty well paid so I am pleased, they wanted me to start Thurs but I said I would start on Monday, better clear the ironing and I have a MS booked on Thurs.

Did 2 MS's today - had to take a test drive in a pretty nasty car!

How did your coffee/cake MS go Hypno? You seem to get far more interesting MS's than me - I have to enquire about oil on Thurs!

    Have a good day all
