The sun is shining and I'm off for one more day...

So that means lots of washing, food shopping, ironing and walking around to enjoy the weather!

I'm also going to regree to childhood and eat Boiled Eggs with Soldiers!

Back home after a nice run while the children were doing karate - only 5.5 miles today but I enjoyed it, which after Saturday's less than satisfying attempt is much appreciated.

Going to make some dinner then collapse on the sofa for an hour or so.....

Good day one and all. Yes I know it's nearly over but this is my first full normal day after 3 night shifts in a row. What with getting a bit of work done on my car, plus fending off 2 phone calls today from the same creditor ( my previous bankers) and all the usual domestic stuff, this is the first time I've got near the house computer in ages. The calls are a pain, the last one I asked who was calling and when they replied I just transferred them to a sofa in an empty room. Five minutes later I went back to retrieve the phone and the caller had hung up. I think I will do that to all unwanted calls from now. Well, hope all you people had good days, mine wasn't too bad really - early to bed tonight, have a snotty letter to write tomorrow to my ex-bankers, looking forward to it already!

lucielle - just under 6 weeks to go until holiday....can't wait!!

nargleblast - you must be tired after night shifts.....it is one thing I have never had to do, although OH has done his fair share over the years, and my mum is a nurse so often did nights when I lived at home. Good for you for not giving into the phone calls though - I find dealing with financial departments on the phone absolutely draining! I can't wait until I no longer have to think about such things!
